A searing hot, brutal desert landscape dotted with stunning geological formations, salt lakes, acid springs, volcanoes, salt canyon and salt flats. Danakil Depression (or Afar Depression) exhibits some uncommon wonders: lava that burns blue, bright yellow hot springs, and lakes of bubbling mud.

Dalol in the Danakil Depression is definitely one of the most amazing places I have been to, and I consider myself quite well traveled. Teh Danakil Depression is one of the lowest points on earth and is considered the hottest. Dalol is an area within this depression that is thermally active, creating an unbelievable display of minerals, crystals, colours and formations. The drive out to Dalol (Only by 4X4 vehicles!!) is beautiful. You drive through salt lakes and salt formations which are almost worth the visit themselves. Then you arrive at Dalol, leave the jeeps and go exploring the place on foot. It is like visiting another planet. Being an avid photographer, I didn't know where to look and what to shoot because there is so much to see......Magnificent!! The expression "Words fail me" applies to Dalol. The only way to appreciate it is to be there. Take sunscreen and a good hat!! Definitely the highlight of our Ethiopia trip!! Not to be Missed!!! Wow!! Unique Experience

Few places in the world have affected me as much as Erta Ale and Dallol. As the guide “Welcome to Mars” told us; The colors of Erra Ale are unique and look fake. The volcano with the lava flowing practically all the time is a wonderful experience. A short excursion which however I would only recommend to those who truly feel like travellers: the heat (even though it was January), the many hours in the jeep, the precarious conditions in which one sleeps are not recommendable to a normal tourist; but for a true traveler, few places in the world can be comparable in terms of emotion

It was really great trip with Glamour team. I travelled with my mother (age 60+). At first, I am not sure if my mom would be ok with Ethiopia...she does not like adventure or any places without malls. But she likes it!!! I am very happy that she loves it. Thanks Glamour tour to make this miracle happen. Thanks our driver, our guides and Yama team for taking care of us. Guides provided us information about Ethiopia. Thanks for taking us to local market in Arba minch ...it was very exciting!!! The team was very attentive. They even asked restaurant to make sure that they would only use the bottle water for our meals. I recommend Glamour tour for Ethiopia. The costs of tour are reasonable. If travelling with senior...like my mom, Yama team is very patient and I am sure that the team will try their best to accommodate your request. I would say everyone will be happy with Yama tour regardless of their ages.

We booked our Ethiopia trip through Glamour Tour Agency and had a wonderful overall experience. Our tour agent, Getachew was extremely prompt in responding to all our queries and very helpful throughout the entire planning process. The arrangements were well‑organized and everything went smoothly. As most of the outings were group tours with travellers from different agencies with fixed timings , we had to cancel one destination since it became challenging to manage with kids. Apart from that, everything went perfectly and we truly enjoyed our trip. Thank you for all your support in making our danakil journey so memorable!

Our Ethiopia trip, organized by glamour was simply outstanding. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the journey. I traveled with my elderly parents and a 3-year-old child, and initially, I was concerned about managing everything. However, thanks to the seamless coordination and support from glamoyr and our tour manager, mickey, the entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Micjey handled everything with great professionalism, ensuring comfort and convenience for all of us. We are truly grateful to glamour and mickey for their exceptional planning, coordination, and for making this vacation a memorable one.
