Leave Fes in the morning and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. The first stop is Ifrane, a charming mountain town known for its clean streets, alpine-style architecture, and cool climate, earning it the nickname "The Switzerland of Morocco." Continue to the cedar forests near Azrou, where you may encounter the famous Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. After a break, drive south through picturesque mountain landscapes to Midelt, known for its apple orchards and stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. In the afternoon, cross the spectacular Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s largest palm groves, offering breathtaking panoramic views of thousands of date palms stretching across the oasis. Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a camel trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes while watching a magical desert sunset. Spend the evening in a traditional desert camp with dinner, Berber music, and a night under the stars.

Wake up early to witness a stunning Sahara sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, explore the desert region by 4x4 vehicle. Visit the village of Khamlia, famous for its unique Gnawa music and rich cultural heritage. Discover nomadic settlements and learn about the traditional desert lifestyle that has been preserved for generations. Continue to fossil-rich areas and old mining sites that reveal the fascinating geological history of the region. Visit hidden desert oases surrounded by palm trees before returning to Merzouga. The afternoon is free for relaxation, sandboarding, or enjoying the peaceful desert scenery. End the day with another spectacular sunset over the dunes, followed by dinner and overnight accommodation in a desert camp or hotel.

Youssef moussaoui was great guide for us the 4 days from Marrakech was good , driving in high atlas mounatain , sahara desert camp was very clean and I reminded to. Do ATV also when you arrive absolutely amazing, I really recommend it and the Morocco yoga retreat was amazing every night and morning 😍😍

We had an amazing time on our 4-day desert tour with Abdrahim as our guide. His driving skills were superb, and he was so friendly and accommodating. The journey through the Atlas Mountains was stunning, and the visit to the Sahara Desert was absolutely magical. The desert camp was so peaceful.
