Tsavo east park is one of the oldest and largest park in Kenya .Dubbed as the theatre of wild , it is home to larger mammals , vast herds of dust -red elephants , buffalo , lion , leopard , cheetah , pods of hippo , crocodile , waterbuck , gerenuk , lesser kudu and the prolific birdlife feature of about 500 species . During game drives in the park such animals are to be spotted .

Tsavo west park is a beautiful , rugged wilderness . The savanna ecosystem comprises of open grassland , scublands and Acacia woodlands , belt of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges . Tsavo west has a variety of wildlife such as eastern black rhinoceros , Hippopotamus , Cape buffalo , Elephant , Leopard and Lion .There are also small animals that can be spotted in this park such as the Bushbaby, Hartebeest , Lesser kudu and Masai Giraffe .

5.00We did a three day Safari, saw all the animals we were hoping to see, except the Leopard. Herd of buffalo being chased by lions was the highlight and to our relief seeing that the Lions failed! elephants, Giraffes, Impalas etc etc
