This cycling tour starts and ends at your hotel! Hard to tell the taxi driver to go to the meeting point in Japanese? sweaty after the tour? No worries! (If your hotel is out of the range, let's discuss the starting point. Additional charges to be applied.)

We use e-bikes, so the motor will assist you when you pedal. It's a relaxing activity. You don’t have to worry about the hill any more!
#3. Private
We will propose a route but this is a private tour, so you can go wherever you want with your own pace. You can also make requests such as changes of starting time, extension of the tour duration, or visits to certain spots. Tell your requests when you sign up. (Additional charges to be applied for each request)
Our tours range from 15-20km, from skyscrapers to back streets in Tokyo, with multiple short stops along the way to give commentaries and let you drink up. Let's enjoy the breeze while cycling.

What To Expect
Tokyo Tower
You cannot miss our symbolic tower. You will have chances to see it not only at famous photo spots but also at the hidden spots that only the guide knows. (depending on the route, this spot might not be included.)
Imperial Palace
You will learn Japanese history by looking at famous spots and tracing along the perimeter of the former moats. These are not listed in a usual traveler's guidebook. (depending on the route, this spot might not be included.)

Cycling off the beaten track in Tokyo

5.00We had 3 days in Tokyo doing many and various trips and Kazuma’s cycling tour, going on a non-touristy route was a definite highlight. From the ancient red-light district to local shopping streets, to a truly authentic coffee shop that we would never have found (best coffee we’ve had in Japan) to the oldest wooden house and back along the river. Felt very safe amid very considerate drivers and learnt stuff about Japanese life that you don’t get in books. Kazuma was all round fantastic.

From start to finish, the tour was perfectly tailored to exactly what we wanted to see and experience, and it was both fun and incredibly informative. Kazuma’s knowledge of Tokyo, its history, neighborhoods, and culture is outstanding, and he shared it in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. What truly set Kazuma apart was his kindness and attentiveness. He was thoughtful, patient, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. He also went above and beyond by taking some truly amazing photos of us along the way, which we will treasure as memories from our trip. This bike tour ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Tokyo, and that is entirely because of Kazuma. If you’re looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, flexible, warm, and genuinely invested in giving you an unforgettable experience, we cannot recommend Kazuma highly enough.

5.00Kazuma san is the most professional, most organized, diligent, courteous, kind, and knowledgeable bike tour guide our family has experienced. We have done bike tours from Edinburgh to Budapest, and Kazuma is the best tour guide we have ever been paired with. If we had more time in Tokyo, we would have hired Kazuma to take us through even more neighborhoods. There is something about the perspective you gain when moving through a city on a bike. Kazuma's knowledge, experience, and outstanding English helped us learn so much about Tokyo and Japan's history and culture. Kazuma also takes pictures during the tour to share with you after the tour. If you are looking for a bike tour, look no further, Kazuma is who are family wholeheartedly recommends.

5.00My husband and I had a wonderful experience on this cycling tour of Tokyo. Our guide, Kazuma, was excellent—friendly and attentive with great English language skills. He shared thoughtful insights into Japanese history and culture, was happy to answer our many questions about Japan and its people, and even explained how to show respect at temples and shrines, all of which really enhanced our The route began at our hotel and was well planned with a fun mix of major sights, backstreets of quiet neighborhoods, busy avenues and scenic paths through beautiful parks, and included stops where we briefly got off the bikes to explore further. One major highlight was the rare opportunity to tour the inside of a privately owned, old traditional Japanese home in a non-touristy part of Tokyo. Kazuma’s pedal assisted bikes were in great condition and made it really easy to cycle for the 12+ miles we covered over 4+ hours. Before heading out, Kazuma explained the “rules of the road” for cyclists in Tokyo, and helped us adjust the bikes so they fit us well. Helmets were provided, and Kazuma made safety during the ride a priority. Kazuma also took photos of us during our bike ride which he later shared with us, which we really appreciated. This tour was AWESOME -- informative, enjoyable and one of the best experiences we participated in during our month-long visit to Japan. If you are looking for an active and engaging way to explore Tokyo, I highly recommend Kazuma’s cycling tour.

5.00We had the best introduction to Tokyo and Japan with Kazuma! It is very convenient to start from your hotel and the bikes are very comfortable, also for us quite tall Dutchies. Kazuma is a fantastic storyteller and took the time to answer all our questions. He’s also super flexible: we planned a 3-hour tour but were almost 5 hours on the road - with a nice coffee break of course. Thank you so much Kazuma!

He was on time to meet us, so friendly, spoke perfect English (which was helpful for our conversations throughout the day), and ensured all of our wants and needs were met! We felt very safe riding with him and he allowed us to make informed choices about our desired routes and choice of stops along the way. He has so much local knowledge from growing up in Tokyo and answered all of our questions. It was a really special experience and I could not recommend him more! 10/10! Thank you, Kazuma!
