Banos Termales de Cocalmayo
We will begin our hike toward Santa Teresa. The first two hours of the trek will be a continuous ascent, surrounded by abundant vegetation and spectacular views of the Salkantay snow-capped peak and the Santa Teresa Valley. Along the way, we will have several rest stops where the guide will explain the local flora and fauna, more than 1,000 meters above the river in the heart of the jungle. We will then descend along the Inca Trail until we reach Quellomayo, where we will have lunch by the river and enjoy a short rest. Afterward, we will continue hiking for another two hours until we arrive at the Cocalmayo hot springs, and then head toward the capsule hotel suspended on the mountainside. This accommodation in Santa Teresa is the only one of its kind in the world: glass domes hanging from a cliff more than 500 meters above the river. This is a truly unique experience, sleeping in a mountain capsule with all modern comforts while observing the Milky Way from the comfort of your bed.

Did this four day Inca Jungle Trek as some travellers i met on the tour spoke highly of the tour and how they felt that it was the best alternative to the Inca Trail. Jonas was the guide and he spoke good English and was knowledgable about the history. The night stay in capsule domes overlooking the valley was the highlight of the trip. The tour also took us to local coffee farms which was the first time for me and i truly enjoyed it. Highly recommended for adventurers as the trek involves long high altitude hikes.

Excellent experience! Carlos's service was exceptional. Our guide Fernandez truly made this journey special. It was my Solo vacation and I was a little nervous but he made me feel very confident and comfortable. He was incredibly attentive to everyone’s needs and wishes, always considerate, motivating, and supportive throughout the trek. He also shared a lot of interesting and valuable information about the route as well as about Machu Picchu, which made the experience even more meaningful.

Did the Inca trail with this company in a group of 4. Our team which included porters and chef were great, so efficient! The trip was very well organized, the food was excellent and our guide Jose had the timings down to the second. I asked many questions and he warmly responded. The hike was challenging but very rewarding. such a professional setup and loved that the company was local. I am so grateful for all his attention and that special touch he gave to our experience. I will always hold this trip in my heart.

The Inca Jungle Trek was an incredible adventure, full of adrenaline and fantastic landscapes. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Peru. I genuinely feel that we received one of the most detailed and enriching history tours, thanks to our guide, Jose. The porters were absolutely amazing - hardworking, efficient, and essential to the experience. The trek itself was challenging at times, but Jose was always nearby, sharing insights and encouraging us along the way.

The Perfect Tour! I completed the Inka Jungle Trek in Peru, and I can confidently say it was the best experience of my life. I don't have the words to express how wonderful it was. Our guilds Miguel and Carlos , put together an exciting and intimate experience that will not be forgotten. The accommodations were all spotlessly clean. With more reasonable prices, friendlier staff and fresher food, it wasn’t even close. We were blown away with our experience!

The Inka Jungle Tour was certainly an unforgettable experience! We did the classic 4 day Inca Trail. It combines beautiful mountain views, green cloud forests, subtropical jungle, and a mix of Inca stone paths, ruins, and tunnels. Definitely not easy to just do, but it's an amazing experience and the satisfaction you get from completing the trail is indescribable.

We just completely led the 4-day Jungle Adventure tour with this company. We learned a lot of great information on the hikes, at every historical site and especially at Machu Picchu. Our tour guide, Miguel, went above and beyond the cause. He has a huge heart and a plethora of facts about nature , about the history of the Incas and Peruvian people, about local food and drink, and about the country at present. I really love that this company and its employees are trying to preserve their culture and support their communities.
