The tour was amazing, the crew were always on the look out for animals in the trees as we cruised up the river and they were ready to stop the boat so we could look at the monkeys. The activities were fantastic and whole crew were so friendly. Big thanks to Tio our guide, he even gave us a tour of the town after the trip as our flight wasn’t until late afternoon!

We are a family of 9 and had an incredible trip with Guh and the crew. Everything went extremely well from start to finish. Communication before the trip was outstanding and the team was very patient keeping track of our flight information and pre trip documentation. The food was incredible. Our guide Guh was so kind and thoughtful, even providing us with battery operated fans at the feeding sites. We enjoyed candle light meal with Guh playing the Dayak, a traditional Borneo instrument. Our boat with clearly the most powerful with the most experienced captain on the river as we were ushered to the front of a blockage on the river to relieve it. It was also great to see our captain stop to help other boats who were having issues. We enjoyed a canoe ride with the local villagers down tributaries. The orangutans were incredible and we saw 57. Special thanks to the entire team for making our family adventure so amazing!

Besides small details, they definitely deserve 5 stars. Great organized company with good coordination between parts. The food was so delicious, three tasty meals plus refreshments - every time a different dish. The guide was knowledgeable and responsive to our needs. It was without saying the best experience one can get in Borneo. Comfortable boat with all necessary amenities.

Wow!! What an amazing experience. My sister and I travelled with Orangutan Applause and had the best time. Our guided, Maya, was amazing, the rest of the boat crew were as well. We saw so many orangutans, probiscis monkeys and lots of other wildlife. Maya was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and local area, always informing us of facts. The whole crew were always on the lookout for wildlife and were always willing to stop when we’d spot an orangutan. The food was amazing, we never went hungry. The boat was an awesome experience, getting to live on the houseboat was comfortable and relaxing. Visiting different sections of the Tanjung Puting NP was incredible and on the last day we got to plant a tree. We loved it!! 10/10 would recommend this tour. An unforgettable experience.
