Kathmandu isn’t just a place to tick off a map; it’s a living story. In three days, we want to take you beyond the busy streets to find the real soul of the valley. We’ll cover all 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, but we’ll do it at a pace that actually lets you soak in the atmosphere.
We’ll start with what we call the "Big Four." We’ll climb the steps to Swayambhunath just as the city begins to wake up and the monkeys gather. Later, we’ll head to Boudhanath to join the locals for their afternoon "Kora"—a peaceful walk around the stupa filled with the scent of incense. We’ll also visit Pashupatinath to see the moving evening fire rituals on the riverbanks and walk through the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square.
The next day feels like stepping back in time as we explore the medieval streets of Patan and Bhaktapur. The wood carvings there are so delicate they almost look like lace. We’ll also visit Changu Narayan, the valley’s oldest hidden gem. will head nagarkot view Mt Everest .

We’ll start our journey where the city’s story began. A Morning Above the Clouds: We’ll climb the 365 steps to Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple) just as the morning mist clears. Watching the monks begin their prayers while the "all-seeing eyes" watch over the valley is a moment you’ll never forget. Step into Royalty: Next, we’ll wander through Kathmandu Durbar Square. We’ll explore the old royal palace and wait by the windows of the Kumari Ghar, hoping for a rare glimpse of the Living Goddess. Ancient Rituals: In the afternoon, we’ll visit Pashupatinath. It’s a deeply moving place on the Bagmati River where you’ll witness the spiritual fire rituals that have been performed for centuries. The Circle of Peace: We’ll end our day at Boudhanath Stupa, joining hundreds of locals for the evening "Kora." There’s something so grounding about walking clockwise around the massive white dome as the butter lamps flicker to life.

Breakfast
Patan (Lalitpur)
Today, we leave the city rush behind to explore the "hidden" gems of the valley. The City of Fine Arts: We’ll spend the morning in Patan Durbar Square, famous for its incredible metalwork and stone temples. It feels like an open-air gallery where every corner is a masterpiece of Newari craft. A Living Time Machine: After lunch, we’ll walk through the red-brick alleys of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It’s a traffic-free medieval city where you can still see pottery drying in the sun and wood carvings as delicate as lace. The Oldest Secret: Before heading up the hill, we’ll visit Changu Narayan, the oldest temple in the valley. It’s quiet, peaceful, and full of 5th-century stone carvings.

Nagarkot
We save the most iconic view for your final morning. The Everest Sunrise: We’ll wake up early to catch the first light hitting the Himalayas. On a clear day, watching Mt. Everest turn from snowy white to a glowing golden crown is a sight that stays with you forever. A Slow Morning: After a warm breakfast overlooking the peaks, we’ll take a gentle drive back down, stopping at local spots for a final cup of tea. The Final Goodbye: We’ll drop you back at the airport or your hotel, leaving you with a heart full of memories and the true spirit of Nepal.
