Captain Jason Dozier is a Florida native who grew up fishing and learning to navigate Florida’s back country and inter-coastal waterways. He has a U.S. Coast Guard 50 ton masters captain license which allows him to pursue his passion of sharing his love, respect, and knowledge of Florida’s pristine coasts.To Capt. Jason, putting his clients on fish is not just a job its a passion; it’s an addiction and it’s a rush. He will work diligently to make sure that you get to enjoy the beautiful waters he gets to fish on everyday just as much as he does.
We will be fishing in and visiting some of Tampa's most beautiful islands, creeks, and sandbars inside of Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay is the largest open-water estuary in Florida, encompassing nearly 400 square miles and bordering three counties -- Hillsborough, Manatee and Pinellas. The bay's sprawling watershed covers a land area nearly five times as large, at 2,200 square miles.

What To Expect
There are usually three time blocks that we can accommodate you on a fishing charter. Morning, afternoon, and evening trips available. Trip duration also varies, but typically I offer 4 hour, 6 hour and full day fishing experiences We will discuss what time frames I believe the fishing will be best, additionally we will decide on how this will fit into your trips schedule. Once We have decided on a date and a time. I do private fishing charters only. What this means is I will take you, or your group out only. Pricing is as follows: We can legally only take up to six people per boat. We will meet at the marina at the date and time we discuss and head off to catch bait for the days trip. Once we catch bait, we will take a short boat ride and begin fishing for the duration time. We will be targeting inshore species such as Snook, Trout, Redfish, Mackeral, Jacks, Snapper, Sharks, and Tarpon. At the end of our fishing trip if you would like to keep any legal species of fish for dinner, I will fillet them up and put them in Freezer bags for you

5.00Garrett was our guide, and we could not have asked for a better Captain. There were four of us: Grandma (me), Grandpa, and our two grandsons, ages 10 and 11. Of all the things we did in Florida during our vacation, by and large, the boys enjoyed their fishing experience the most. These boys are MN boys, and they are accustomed to fishing. But Garrett made it SO FUN for these boys, and they were able to learn new tricks and catch bigger (and more) fish than what we catch regularly in MN. He took the boys to "hot spots; he was helpful, knowledgeable, skilled, and an absolute gem with people. I would highly recommend this personalized excursion. Well worth the time and money!

5.00This excursion was incredible. 6 of us had the best experience with Capt. Garrett. He knew all the spots where the fish were biting. We landed speckled trout, sheep's head, Lady fish, and red fish. Everyone caught something, but the best part was the ease of it all. Garrett made it fun, shared the lay of the land and had an awesome playlist. This will definitely be an adventure we'll do again!
Well worth the money.

5.00Such a wonderful trip! Captain Buck knows his playing field. He put us on fish first thing and everywhere else he took us too. We caught snook, crevalle jack, lady fish, Spanish mackerel, speckled trout, catfish and about a two and a half ft shark. Captain Buck is not only knowledgeable, but is also extremely personable and attentive. He'll let you do as much or as little you're comfortable with. At the end he cleaned and bagged the couple of fish we actually kept. We had a wonderful day!!

5.00Captain Jason is the real deal!! We caught so many fish, my arms were exhausted by the end of the charter. He knows exactly where the fish are biting and won’t waste time hooking up on them. My experience was incredible and I can’t wait for weeks worth of fish for dinner. I highly recommend this charge to anyone and everyone wanting to have an amazing time catching fish and making memories!!!!

5.00Capt Jason worked hard to put us on fish. I’ve been on several other charters where the fish weren’t biting and we sat there until time was up. Our first spot with Jason was a little slow and he quickly made us reel up and move and the second spot was fire! Looking forward to book him again.
