What a wonderful experience with a company that could not have been more accommodating and pleasant. On top of that we had the most perfect weather for the Tasman Glacier experience!

Awesome worth experiencing, you can take two planes at a time, the captain will also explain the mountain glacier, a very unforgettable experience, if there is a chance to go to Cook Mountain next time, I would like to try again

Extremely unique and cool experience. It can be rough if you are prone to motion sickness. It you can afford the time and money, I would highly recommend.

Amazing experience standing on a slowly melting glacier. The glacier surface was too uneven for a ski plane landing so we got the helicopter in and back. Helicopter ride was great too! Our pilot pointed out different mountains, glaciers, lakes and huts along the way.

Two-week highlights from South Island New Zealand. 1. Take the helicopter and land near the norm, then take 10 minutes of free time and then take the plane (the order may be the opposite). The way you change with another team from the top to the bottom). Great who invented it. 2. Both the helicopter and the security aircraft are the widest and cleanest glass windows I've ever built (the ones I used to ride were small glass windows with many flaws, so the outside was clearly invisible). 3. It seems like every two hours, but it's amazing to land where there's no footprint. 4. Unlike reviews, the weather was nice so we left on time. Generally friendly. 5. Expensive but worth enough. Next time in New Zealand, we'll ride again.

Wonderful experience. The combination of a small plane and helicopter ride over the glaciers and Mt. Cook was fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The duration of each ride was also the correct amount for us. Enough to enjoy but not too long. Advice for travelers - weather is a key factor. We had a clear skies day. Bad weather may result in no flights.

As part of our South Island holiday I went back to the Mt Cook Village area with the hope that we could get to experience the Ski Plane and Helicopter flights and landing on a glacier. The weather gods where out in force and we had absolutely beautiful blue sky. We went up in the ski plane, which is the last operating in the Southern Hemisphere, and ended landing on Franz Josef Glacier. The scenery on the way there is stunning and beautiful. We actually were very lucky and spent a little longer on the glacier. It was then into the helicopter for the flight back to the airfield. The views were amazing and both pilots provided commentary. If you are interested in this flight take it from the Mt Cook Village side as taking it from the west coast is more problematic due to weather. My husband and I loved the experience and it was worth the detour.

Great combination of helicopter flight up to the top of Mount Cook and plane ride down with a preference for the helicopter journey. Unfortunately cloud descended on us just as we landed cutting our time walking in the snow at the peak to just 2 minutes but just enough time to get my proposal in......

This was just the most amazing experience. So special to spend some time on top of a glacier, with the most amazing views surrounding us. The pilot was lovely. He provided some very interesting information as well as making sure we were all OK. I recommend this very highly.

We experienced an incredible afternoon combining both plane and helicopter flights to the Tasman Glacier at Mt Cook. The unique dual-aircraft adventure offered two distinct perspectives of New Zealand's largest glacier and surrounding alpine landscape. The highlight was landing on the glacier itself - a surreal experience standing on ice surrounded by spectacular peaks. Our pilots, Maurice and Mark, were excellent guides who shared fascinating insights about the geography and glacial features throughout the journey. For anyone visiting Mt Cook, this combination flight offers exceptional value. It's more than just a scenic flight - it's an immersive alpine adventure that provides unique perspectives you simply can't get any other way. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an unforgettable New Zealand alpine experience.
