• The Carmargue was a cool tour!

  Our guide was so kind and spoke multiple languages. He really imparted the information with pride of place about the bulls, wildlife and lifestyle of the cowboys. We saw the Mediterranean sea! Had a half hour to visit restroom coffee shop and black Madonna in the church by Saint Mairie de Mer. Loved the wildlife. We fed the White horses by the roadside on local grasses and hadany opportunities to get out of the jeep for photo ops. Fellow travelers were friendly from Australia and Switzerland. A bonus! Do this tour. You'll be glad you did.

  Flavio was our excellent, experienced and friendly guide. We learned a lot about the Camargue region, and were able to see many of the local flora and fauna. This tour was informative enough as a first step towards deciding how we spent the rest of our time in the region.

• Unfortunately didn't live up to our expectations

  Didn't start well as had to wait 15mins for 2 people who eventually didn't turn up. We were put in the back of the Land Rover with little to no space and facing sideways so a complete waste of time. We both have knee problems and therefore difficulty with getting in abd out of the back of the Labd Rover. The first vehicle set off at least 20 minutes before we eventually got going at 0915 instead of 0900 and it appeared the driver was trying to make the time up. Anyway it didn't get any better and although we were glad to do the tour it was very challenging and the vehicle was nowhere near adequate for elder people who were scrunched in the back seats which were nowhere near comfortable and we kept sliding off. Every bump was felt through the thin cushion over the metal wheel arch. Didn't quite live up to our expectations as was expecting to see herds of white horses and more black bulls. Overall disappointing.

  Not to be missed if you're in this area. The guide took us on roads we would never find on our own. She knew so much about the history and wildlife and where to stop so we could get a close glimpse of Camargue horses, bulls and flamingos. Also interesting narrative about the geography.

  Absolutely amazing experience! Michel showed us the beauty of the Camargue with humour and an amazing amount of insight. He obviously loves the region and is very proud of its splendour.
