Kel-Suu Lake

Ride Kyrgyz horses or hike through rugged mountain terrain (approx. 2.5–3 hours one-way) to reach Kel-Suu — one of the most remote and surreal alpine lakes in Central Asia, nestled among limestone cliffs. The emerald waters are sometimes partially hidden in summer, adding to the mystery. Start the morning with breakfast at the hotel in Naryn. This high-altitude city is the cultural and geographical heart of eastern Kyrgyzstan. After checkout, begin your scenic road journey west.

Dolon Pass
