The scarp of Tsagaan Suvarga is located in the southwest of the Dundgobi province. It is a sheer slope that was an ancient seabed that featured a sedimentary structure that was created over millions of years. It is interesting to see this slope because it faces eastward of the sun. It also appears to be the ruins of an ancient city from a far distance. That is why it was called the “White stupa”. Because it faces eastward, when there are storms, it is common for animals to fall off and die. This formation is over 60m tall at its highest point and continues for an impressive length of 400m. The stupa rises to the sky at an angle of 90 degrees. After pouring rain, the torrent of water that flows down the stupa looks like a massive waterfall.

Khongor sand dune is one of Mongolia's largest and most spectacular dunes, standing as high as 200 meters above the ground, 7-8 km wide, and 180 km long. Climbing the dunes is breathtaking, not only for the view at the top. It surprises climbers that the dunes make a singing sound while you climb; that is why it is nicknamed the singing dunes. The sand dunes make you feel extraordinary comfort and infinite peace. Once we get there, we will ride a camel along the Khongor sand dunes. The two-humped Bactrian camels are very comfortable to ride as they walk slowly and gently. You will be well supported by the humps, sitting comfortably between them.

We had an amazing private tour experience in Mongolia, thanks to our wonderful guide and driver. From start to finish, everything was smooth, well-organized, and thoughtfully planned. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing Mongolia’s culture, history, and traditions. They were also very attentive to our needs, flexible with the itinerary, and always made sure we were comfortable. A special mention to our driver, who was incredibly skilled and reliable. The long drives across different terrains felt safe and felt in good hands throughout even the bumpy road. What really stood out was the warm hospitality—we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for during the entire trip. This private tour exceeded our expectations and created unforgettable memories. Highly recommend Luna Khaliunaa and Tsegmed Tsogtoo to anyone visiting Mongolia!

Great to take the tour with them! I truly recommend it to everyone! The people at the agency go to great lengths to provide the best experience. They delivered much more than I expected and want to see you happy, they organized the trip according to most interests you. The guide Bolor is experienced and knows in-depth about local cultures and Buddhism and is always thinking about the next step of the trip, organizing every single thing like lunches without waiting, quick and convenient entry to the sites. Odhuu drives carefully on a bumpy road. The car was comfortable and new, convenient for a road trip. They do everything to make you happy and get to know deeply this nomadic culture that they have in Mongolia so far. Everyone at the company is kind and friendly!
