The Marangu Route is also known as the “Tourist Route” and the “Coca-Cola Route.” This is because
Marangu is the most popular route on the mountain, and thus is considered “touristy”, and because
the route is the only one that offers sleeping huts, which serve beverages like Coca-Cola, on the way.

The Mafie team was excellent. They were friendly, genuine and encouraging. We were a team of 5 and none of us have a negative comment on the whole team. We all made it to the top. I don’t think we were going to make it on summit night had it not been for the Mafie Team. Thank you very much to Erastos and Oliver with the rest of the team.

Very well organized trip and excellent responsiveness because we did it at the last minute! Mafie Adventure was attentive and knew how to organize us brilliantly a tailor-made trip. Excellent food and adapted throughout the trek. We felt safe all the way to the top. The guides and porters were very professional and attentive. This experience is unforgettable. Thank you!!!!

Well with deciding to climb last minute and not being able to do proper research on a guide, I was extremely satisfied. They provided me with good gear/clothes I didn’t bring, my guide Walter was patient and made sure I felt comfortable, and the food was excellent. I have heard that other routes are more beautiful, but due to time restraints, coat, and rainy season (this route has huts instead of tents) I chose the marangu route. I still thought it was amazing and was in no way disappointed! It felt a bit strange being the only hiker (only ran into 3 others from different groups in camp), but it was also very peaceful and the team took good care of me.

The safari tour was so good. We were Six people from different countries. We had an amazing guide called Lucas and a great cook as well. The tour was so professional, we saw all of the animals that we could imagine and more. The price was fair
