  We booked this trip a year ago, and despite some initial concerns regarding the geopolitical situation, we decided to move forward with our plans. The reassurance from the company and the information we received convinced us that everything would go smoothly — and we were absolutely right! We had an extraordinary week, largely thanks to our guide, Said. We cannot recommend him highly enough (though we hope you’re lucky enough to book him, as he is clearly in high demand!). The week was full of incredible surprises and diverse experiences, including: • Traditional Craftsmanship: Visiting local pottery workshops and a rose perfume distillery. • Culture & History: Exploring magnificent castles and authentic traditional villages. • Engineering Wonders: Learning about the ancient falaj irrigation systems. • Gastronomy: Enjoying the rich and delicious local cuisine. • Breathtaking Landscapes: A perfect mix of the desert, the sea, and the mountains. • Muscat, Oman through the Ages Museum, Nizwa, Jabal Akhdar, Bandar Al Rowdah Marina (snorkeling)

  We were in Muscat for only a short time, so we requested a private tour tailored to the specific sights we wanted to see. One of our day trips took us to Nizwa Fort and Souk, the Oman Through the Ages Museum, and Jabal Akhdar-and it was absolutely wonderful. Jabal Akhdar was quite cold (definitely pack warm clothes if you’re visiting in winter!), but the views were breathtaking. Both the museum and Jabal Akhdar were stunning, and I loved learning more about Oman’s rich history. Our visit felt far too short. Our guide for the day, Imaad, was an excellent and confident driver. We felt completely safe navigating the steep mountain roads up to Jabal Akhdar, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Another guide, Shakera (from The Ubuntu Hub, who works with MTT), took us on an incredible city tour of Muscat. We visited the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, which is truly breathtaking. I loved the architectural details, especially the different mihrabs in the courtyard inspired by Islamic art and architecture from around the world. The gardens were equally spectacular. We also explored the Mutrah Corniche and Souk, the Al Alam Palace, and then Shakera treated us to an authentic Omani lunch. It was unforgettable-my first time trying camel meat, and I honestly couldn’t believe how delicious it was! I even preferred it to the lamb, which says a lot since lamb is usually my favourite. We also visited the modern and beautiful Al Mouj Mosque, the nearby marina with its high end restaurants, hotels and store, and Al Hail Beach, where we enjoyed a relaxing walk along with traditional karak tea and Omani chips. Shakera also arranged a boat trip from Marina Bandar Al Rowdah to a small island (not the Daymaniyat Islands), where we went dolphin watching and snorkeling. I was lucky enough to spot turtles, and this experience was without a doubt the highlight of my trip, as snorkeling is something I truly love. I would highly recommend Shakera and MTT to anyone visiting Oman. Their services were exceptional, and I will absolutely use them again on future visits.

  We were lucky enough to experience an unforgettable trip to Oman, accompanied by a very special guide, Said, competent and attentive, who introduced us not only to the places, but above all to the soul of the country. From Muscat to Nizwa, passing through the wonderful Wadi, traditional villages and desert, every stop was enriched by his passionate story and deep knowledge of Omani culture.   We had Nagim as the driver throughout our stay in Muscat. He was very nice and clearly proud of his country which he presented to us in a great way.   Our Trip to Oman, Muscat was wonderful. All thanks to our amazing guide Mr Jameel. His kind personality, cheerful nature and his knowledge made this trip an unforgettable one. Oman is stunning. Jameel’s way of showing around made it special. We had a great time exploring the beautiful country and its amazing nature. If anyone is visiting Muscat , i recommend tours with Jameel.
