The cooking class was well organised, and although it was a lot of dishes, the instructor had full control and managed to engage us all. Lovely food, and I enjoyed our short walk to buy some ingredients. Hazel was a great instructor.

Emmy was a funny, friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable hostess. Her English was excellent and her accent very easy to understand. The class used fresh food from the nearby market. Each one of us helped in various ways with the preparation. The food and egg coffee (and the little tipple of rice wine “for digestive purposes “) was all delicious. I’m looking forward to preparing these dishes back home. A colour booklet with photos and recipes was also included. Money well spent. You won’t be sorry!

This class was so amazing! Lynn was so sweet and explained everything in such detail. She was so knowledgeable, funny, and motivated and always made sure everybody felt included, got to do and try everything and brought people together. The food was great! I have never had spring rolls that amazing and will definitely try the sauce at home! So glad I got to do this. Everybody was really nice and welcoming, plus we were a very small class which was really nice and refreshing and gave everybody time to try out all the different things! We made 5 dishes in total and all were great! It also never felt forced or rushed and the atmosphere was great! Definitely would recommend and would always come back!

A fantastic experience! Emmy was a great teacher, and very engaging and funny. Started out with a short walk around the market to pick up ingredients, then spent ~2 hours cooking (actually cooking, not just watching a demonstration) before enjoying our meal. The end result (we had the vegetarian option) was honestly the best meal I’ve had in Hanoi so far, better than any restaurant.
