Our Apron Up Cooking Class has been gaining popularity through years in giving people an intensive and interesting lessons. People who come to us can be experts who want to open Vietnamese restaurant back home or a person who never cook before but want to be able to eat delicious Viet food when they have to come back after vacation.
Our school locates right in the centre of the old quarter so very easy to access and hence, after the market tour in the biggest market in Hanoi which is right near the old quarter, you can also know where to buy what in the rest of your trip here.
Within only 3 - 4 hours, you get to learn about the ingredients ( spices and Vietnamese produces), get your hands on cooking a whole meal of the most popular and authentic 5 dishes in Hanoi (or its vegetarian version for vegetarian attendants, enjoying your fruits of labour and try Vietnamese rice wine together with your classmates, receiving a cook booklet and certificate!

What To Expect
Explore local market and shopping with our guide, cook 5 Vietnamese dishes, eat your own fruits of labour together with Vietnamese rice vodka. Get a cook book and certificate. Menu: Pho bo (beef noodle soup), Bun cha (Hanoi BBQ pork noodle), Nem ran (fried spring roll), papaya salad, egg coffee/ chocolate. Vegetarians/ non-red meat eaters will learn vegetarian version.

5.00This was an amazing class! Emmy was a fantastic teacher! The market visit was so fun and informative and it was great how we all got to be involved in each of the 5 dishes. The egg coffee and bun cha were my favorites! I would highly recommend this class!

5.00Cooking class was so fun and educational! We received cook books at the end with the recipes. Plan to eat a lot at the end. 10/10 recommend. We took the 6 pm class and it was a great substitute for dinner. Our instructor Emmy was incredibly sweet and wise. She made the class super fun :)

5.00The chef who worked with us was wonderful and the facility was good to work in. We had a small group of 6 people and we all got to know each other during the class. We made tasty food which we will try to duplicate at home. This was a wonderful experience in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. We would highly recommend this class. Easy to understand and hands on.
