You reach the base of the trail along the path that runs through the traditional hotel reservation in the upper part of the city, a few minutes from the center. The trekking begins with an ascent that accompanies the old ski slope and advances over the highest part of the Fuegian forest. The path continues accompanying a melting stream coming from the Martial glacier. After passing the vegetation limit, you walk on loose rock or ice during the winter. If the weather permits, lunch is held at the viewpoint with a stunning view of the city and the Beagle Channel. To finish, you return along the same path to the beginning of the trail where you will be transported to your accommodation.

Incredible experience climbing the mountain with snow. Requires some physical preparation, but the view is worth it

Pick up was very smooth. Upon arrival to the Fin del Mundo Park, our guide Sonia gave us hiking poles, crampons and our lunch. The hike up to “Mirador de Los Cóndores” was somewhat challenging because of the steep slope, but Sonia made sure that we did it at a comfortable pace. We were rewarded by a magnificent view from the top. Highly recommended.

Incredible experience. Although it is a trek of medium difficulty, I recommend doing it with professional people like Arpon Turismo. At first we thought the precautions and demands for equipment and clothing were a bit exaggerated, but now we are grateful that they did it. It was necessary because the weather changes abruptly and suddenly we were in the middle of an icy track, snowing and with very strong gusts of wind. But with the guide Leo at all times we felt super safe and content. Thank you very much Arpon and Leo for this wonderful adventure. We will surely recommend them.

The truth is that it is a beautiful place where from the Glacier you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Beagle Channel and the city of Ushuaia. I went with Arpon trekking and the experience was excellent. We went with the guide Leo, who always accompanied our pace and contributed his experience to us. Excellent work group and highly recommended.

I was in Ushuaia only for 1 day, as it was a port day of a cruise. Pick-up was straightforward, trail conditions were great, no issue with pace. Personally, I'd say this was a light-moderate hike. Lots of families could be seen on the trail, out for the day, with young teenagers. If you needed more time to catch your breath, no problem. Our guide Lio was knowledgeable, good company, and lugged up hot water and a a foam cushion for a pleasant lunch at the top 😀. The packed lunch was good, and better than when I pack my own hiking lunch. I'm an avid hiker at home, but I only had a few hours for the hike due to my personal schedule. I would have liked to do a different hike, but I didn't have the time to make it work. If you are in a similar situation while in Ushuaia, I'd recommend this hike and this company, no regrets at all.
