Chandni Chowk Market
After the mosque, you will enjoy an amazing rickshaw ride. going through the bustling markets of Old Delhi.
Red Fort
Drive around the Red Fort from the outside as 70% of the building is acquired by the Indian Army. Therefore you see it from outside and click some pictures.
Raj Ghat
Raj Ghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. It marks the spot where Gandhi was cremated on January 31, 1948, a day after his assassination. The memorial consists of a black marble platform, left open to the sky, with an eternal flame burning at one end.
India Gate
India Gate is an Arc-de-Triomphe-like 140 feet high gateway that was constructed as a War Memorial in memory of the 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who lost their lives during the First World War.

5.00Sonia of Joyful Tours prepared an itinerary that met our needs very well and Mr Raju, our driver took great care of us throughout the trip. Our tour included many hours driving, but he was enjoyable company and a very safe driver, and made sure we had good food and clean toilets at every rest stop. The trip went smoothly and the hotels (we requested heritage hotels) were excellent. Our tour guides were always on time, well informed, and able to answer our questions. Our first day was in Delhi, a city facing terrible traffic problems, which meant that we spent several hours in traffic jams, but this was not an issue elsewhere. Our one regret is that we were not able to get out of the car and walk around some of the colourful and very busy areas we drove through. Our schedule, and Raju's concern for our safety made this impossible. Altogether the tour exceeded our expectations and we are very likely to take another with this company some day.

We would recommend Joyful Holidays to anyone! Joyful Holiday’s customer service was amazing! Sonia answered all our questions promptly prior to our journey starting. Each day of the tour, she checked in with us to ensure everything was going well. Our special itinerary requests were accommodated and the tour concluded without any problems. Ajay was a fantastic driver! He was friendly, professional and provided exceptional service. We always had a smooth and pleasant ride. His car was clean and comfortable. We were amazed by all we saw and learned. The tour guides knowledge made our trip unforgettable! Their passion for their cities shone through. A special mention to Karan- Delhi, Vjay- Agra, Dilip - Jaipur, and Ronit - Udiapur. The 4-star hotels were clean, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. 5.00From the start Sonia and team were wonderful from organising and customising our itinerary to making sure we saw everything we wanted to see. The guides were very informative and were a great help when navigating some of the cities. We felt safe and looked after the entire time. The only improvement could have been a larger car as two of our suitcases were required to be strapped to the roof. Our driver Gulab was outstanding, he was always on time, drove safely, maintained a clean car and was great fun. We could not recommend Gulab enough. Overall we had an amazing time and everything was such a breeze thanks to Sonia and Gulab.

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see this part of India. 5.00I went to a private Golden Triangle tour in India and the trip is one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences I have had. As a solo traveler I was anxious to journey through India due to many unpleasant things and precautions that some past travelers have shared. My experience was different. My tour driver Ajay accompanied me from Delhi to Agra and Jaipur. The journey was safe and enjoyable. Ajay took good care of me and i will always remember him and his wonderful service. I hope to have him again as my tour driver when I come back to India.

5.00My girlfriend and I visited from LA. First time in India, and we don’t speak Hindi at all. We found Vivek’s company on Trip Advisor. This tour was a great speed run of India. It gave us a high level overview of Indian history and culture. It was awesome to compare the various cities, as they’re all very different. Our favorite cities were Jodhpur and Udaipur! They were much more relaxed than Delhi and Agra. We had the same driver for the whole tour. His name was Ajay. His English was so so, but he was extremely nice and accommodating. If we needed to stop somewhere or change the plan, he was happy to accommodate. In each city we were assigned a local guide, who would spend the day with us, taking us to predestined spots. The guides were professional and knowledgeable, and their English skills were (usually) very solid. But I do want to discuss one thing that tourists should keep in mind… Some of the guides were pushy about taking us to specific stores and having us buy things. The shopkeepers were also very pushy once we arrived. After experiencing this a few times in a row, we theorized that the guides were probably earning a commission on the purchases we made at those shops. This eroded our trust in the guides a bit, which was a bummer. After a few days, we started telling our guides that we did not want to visit any stores, and if they had recommendations, they could message us about them on Whatsapp so we could visit them on our own accord. My advice to future tourists is this: feel free to take suggestions from the guides and drivers, but be prepared to find your own restaurants and shops. We relied heavily on TripAdvisor and Google Maps, and were able to find a ton of amazing places to eat and shop. Overall, I highly recommend this tour. It was a fantastic way for us, as first-timers, to throw ourselves into the culture and history of India, with enough “guard rails” to keep us safe and comfortable. Thanks to Vivek, Arjay, and all of our wonderful guides.

5.00My vacation via Joyfulindiaholidays was Awesome.Sonia thanks again for planning and putting my trip together.Cannot say enough about Sonia as my travel consultant. She is conscientious, patient and takes the time to listen and understand what is important to you. She is phenomenal and also has a first rate team working with her. Communication throughout the planning process was remarkable in that Sonia kept me up-to-date with all activities. All hotels were 5 star and wonderful location.Great Breakfast to start my day. Transportation was coordinated perfectly, she suggested great places to visit and all were amazing and lots to learn. In the future I will consider Sonia for planning all my trips and Look forward to years of travel experience with her.
