The whole trip was amazing. The guide Haffi was very engaging, helpful and provided tons of insights to the destinations as well as the Icelandic culture. He also arranged different ad hoc spots and offered dinner recommendations, so something extra to what were in the itinerary and was much appreciated. He helped look at the weather forecast and got outside to look for opportunity to see the Northern lights. I loved chitchatting with Haffi and he was always eating with us and answering our random questions.

Amazing experience with troll.is ring road Iceland tour. 10 out of 10. Our guide Glyes was really nice and professional, who helped us drive through bad weather, while also provided abundant information about the tourist spots. We encountered a yellow alert and had to cancel one day of the plan, but the customer service at troll.is was also helpful and provided prompt options and solutions to navigate the situation.

We had a fantastic journey. The choice of locations is great, and we fell in love with the nature of Iceland. The tour program is intense so my son and I never got bored. Shoutout to our amazing and caring guide Rocky! He made us smile even when we were tired and took care of every detail. Thanks for waking us up to see the northern lights! Tatiana

The only way to visit Iceland in my opinion! John was our guide and absolutely incredible, knowledgeable and knowing when and how to avoid the bad weather and other tourists! We visited a horse farm, hiked glaciers, saw breathtaking waterfalls and iceberg lagoons, black sand beaches and the thermal baths to name just a few activities. We stayed in hotels with the most beautiful scenery and got insights from John about when and how to view the northern lights so late in the season! John was incredibly dedicated and worked tirelessly to give us the best experience, driving in difficult conditions and giving us extra stops on the way to ensure we saw Iceland through his eyes (not to mention the invaluable geography lessons!) I cannot recommend this trip enough and there is no way we could have made it as special without booking this tour (and making lovely friends in our group!)

I went on the 6 day mini-bus tour with family members & a friend with Troll. What an amazing experience! Our tour guide, John, was awesome! I learned so much about the geography of Iceland, its culture and history. John was very knowledgeable and went above & beyond with his extra stops. I would definitely recommend booking this tour with John.

This was our second time doing this amazing tour thanks to Hafpór our guide. He opened music requests and played them, he took us to snowball fight and he played with us. The experience was unforgettable enjoyable and fun. We had to request a guide change after the first day, the first one was rude. Troll managed this incredibly quick and validated our input no questions asked.

I joined this tour as a solo traveller and had a very good experience. Our guide and driver, Gylfi, was friendly, fun, and drove safely. The tour length was just right, with many stops but not too tiring. Most of the hotel rooms were comfortable. They could not give the full hotel list by email before the tour, but everything was arranged well. I really enjoyed this trip and would come back again.
