Following progressive tours philosophy we decided to extend from 4 to 6 hours the Santiago city tour.
With an unrushed execution we're able to enjoy the spots properly (example: tasting the flavors on the markets INSTEAD OF JUST PASSING THROUGH the "mercado central")
In that way we'll cover more essential places that are important places to be able to understand, enjoy and get a little more lf the vibe of our city.

Parque Bicentenario
At Parque Bicentenario, you’ll experience Santiago's modern side in the upscale district of Vitacura. This beautifully designed park, with its sleek architecture and lush landscapes, offers a serene escape from the city’s bustle. We’ll explore its well-crafted paths, vibrant sculptures, and peaceful lake, perfect for taking stunning photos with an incredible backdrop of the Andes. This stop isn’t just about nature; it’s a chance to see how Santiago’s urban design reflects the city’s growth and appreciation for open, community-oriented spaces.
La Moneda
We start our walk on the downtown on the palace of government and the cultural center. perfect place to explain the political situation of the country and the history of it. Like the coup executed by Pinochet. Also with an overview of chilean economy.

Amazing tour of Santiago! Would highly recommend to anyone interested in learning more about the culture of Santiago. The tour was adjusted to accommodate our interests. Food experiences were available throughout the tour and provided the opportunity to eat and learn about local cuisine in non touristy places if desired. Also saw amazing views and visited many different areas in Santiago. Our guide Felipe was so friendly and helpful!

Felipe was an outstanding guide and made my Santiago city tour truly memorable. He did a fantastic job showing us the most interesting and beautiful spots around the city, and he explained everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. I learned a lot about the history, culture, and daily life in Santiago while exploring. Daniel drove us around Santiago and he was equally impressive. He was extremely knowledgeable about the city’s history and shared fascinating insights throughout the tour. It was clear that both Felipe and Daniel have a genuine passion for what they do. Their love for their work and for their city really came through in every interaction. They were both incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience the entire time. The tour felt exciting, relaxed, and very well organized. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Santiago. Felipe and Daniel made the experience special, and I’m very grateful for such a wonderful introduction to the city.

Although other people who had booked our tour cancelled, Pancho (Francisco) was so wonderful about giving just the two of us a wonderful tour! He was so thoughtful and energetic in spite of the hot weather; he never rushed us. Our driver, Rodrigo, was an excellent driver and he always appeared out of nowhere to pick us up to take us to our next destination! The pre-trip communication was also very good. We were very fortunate to have you as our guides for the day!

When I reached out to our guide upon arrival at the hotel on Sunday for some specifics on our Monday morning tour, I was advised that the tour should not have been available on Mondays because many activities were closed on Mondays. He recommended a wine tour in Valparaiso instead which wasn't something we were interested in. Since it was late Sunday before we received this information we had few options for our only full day in Santiago. We should have been notified as soon as he received the reservation which was booked more than 1 month prior.

Our guide Alvaro couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The itinerary covered some interesting sites and for us was a perfect introduction to Santiago. The driver who was called Rodrigo, I think-apologies- was also excellent. We also had a group of 3 which always helps integrate everyone.

We did this tour the day after we arrived in Santiago, we are 2 couples travelling together. Our guide was fantastic, he looked after us like we were his friends not tourist. He is very knowledgeable on the history and culture of Chile and knows his way around Santiago. We would definitely recommend booking a tour through Progressive Tours.
