Following progressive tours philosophy we decided to extend from 4 to 6 hours the Santiago city tour.
With an unrushed execution we're able to enjoy the spots properly (example: tasting the flavors on the markets INSTEAD OF JUST PASSING THROUGH the "mercado central")
In that way we'll cover more essential places that are important places to be able to understand, enjoy and get a little more lf the vibe of our city.

Parque Bicentenario
At Parque Bicentenario, you’ll experience Santiago's modern side in the upscale district of Vitacura. This beautifully designed park, with its sleek architecture and lush landscapes, offers a serene escape from the city’s bustle. We’ll explore its well-crafted paths, vibrant sculptures, and peaceful lake, perfect for taking stunning photos with an incredible backdrop of the Andes. This stop isn’t just about nature; it’s a chance to see how Santiago’s urban design reflects the city’s growth and appreciation for open, community-oriented spaces.
La Moneda
We start our walk on the downtown on the palace of government and the cultural center. perfect place to explain the political situation of the country and the history of it. Like the coup executed by Pinochet. Also with an overview of chilean economy.

My tour guide Daniel did a great job! He was also the driver for the tour and did it safely. He communicated very well the night prior to the tour about my pickup time at my hotel and he showed up on time as stated. Daniel explained the history of the city professionally and thoroughly in proficient English. The entire tour was at a calm and relaxed pace for me and two other guests in my tour group. I highly recommend Daniel and his tour company Progressive Tours for touring the city of Santiago!

In our case no one else signed up for the tour that day so it was just my wife and I. The tour company generously allowed us to still have the tour without charging us for a private one, which is what is normally is for just two (we would not have gone if they had). Lalo was our driver, a sweetheart of a guy, very knowledgeable and likable. Unlike many other companies, they were willing to come out to the airport area to pick us up. The tour was enjoyable. Because it was just us we ended up modifying the itinerary some so there were parts we didn't do that we can't comment about. Walking around downtown was really nice, the Palacio, Plaza de la Constitución, plaza de armas, the cathedral, the Museum of National History was very interesting (free), we didn't do the other museum mentioned in the itinerary. The extra thing we did was go to the Artisan Fair at the Barrio Pueblito los Dominicos and also ate there, very good. Finally we ended at cerro San Cristóbal and took the teleférico to the top. Lalo was kind enough to stay and extra half an hour for us and took us to our new hotel nearby. Since we didn't do the traditional tour, it's hard to say and compare, but we did enjoy it, and both Lalo and the company were accommodating. It felt like we should have "seen" more for the time and price, thus 4 instead of 5, but we were satisfied with it and Lalo was great.

Communication was great before the activity and the company addressed my questions. The tour itself was great, the guide answered everything and provided a great tour of the city. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a tour of Santiago wrapped into one day!! 5 stars

To understand the culture and Santiago’s neighborhoods sign up with Daniel. He tailors his tour to meet your needs. He surprised us with an impromptu stop to enjoy a wonderful empanada.

I very much enjoy this tour with Daniel. He has a great sense of humor, extreme knowledge of the city and its history. He is also very flexible with you to be able to accommodate your own interest. He gave us the flexibility to stay longer or shorter, which I thought was very helpful. I highly recommend Daniel. He is super engaging and very considerate in accommodating your needs.

Carlos, our guide, was completely detailed in every regard. We were provided with a tour that included historical and modern nuances of, not only Santiago, but also of Chilean life. Carlos made every effort to ensure our comfort and spoke impeccable English while incorporating Spanish for additional culturalisms. This tour is highly recommended for the true essence of Santiago accompanied by an expert. Don't miss out on this valuable experience!

A great day out in Santiago with a very knowledgeable local person which gave us real insight into the history and meaning of the places, buildings, and street art we were seeing and the development of the city over time. Enjoyable and thought provoking.

My group tour ended up being a private tour of Santiago city and sites and history. Hightower, my guide, picked me up at the hotel and drove me off to see all over Santiago. Since it was just me, he asked me what I wanted to see and things I wanted to do. He catered this tour to me. We hit the hot spots like the furnicular at San Cristobal and went all the way to the top and walked around. I wanted to try Mote Con Huesillo, he got me one. 👍🏻 He gave me great history and insight to the park. Then off to other areas of town like govt and Plaza De Armas. We walked all around and he took me to the Original Domino Sandwicheria to try a Completo Italiano for lunch. Then to the Human Rights museum and museum of Natural History. Excellent final day in Santiago 🙌🏻 Hightower was an excellent guide. I learned so much about Chile and the people and what it’s like to live here. Highly recommend.
