What I liked: -You get to see a lot of places in 7 days. - The program is well coordinated. - the tour guides know the places well. What I didn’t like: - The group consisted of 90% people from a certain country. The tour guide primarily spoke that language and filled in with English when necessary. - tips are not really tips. They call it service charge and it is €10/day per customer. The main issue is you have to pay in cash so have sufficient Euro at hand. It is not always easy to find an ATM in Europe. - extra activities such as gondola ride and lunch, if opted for, goes the same way. Payment is in Euro and cash. I wasn’t prepared for that. Most ATMs have daily limit so bring along sufficient Euro. - be prepared for long walks in sun and rain and whole day bus ride. This is not a relaxing vacation by any means! - in Switzerland, most restrooms are not free. Some have credit card option but many need €1 coin only. - most of the places don’t allow you sufficient time to go in, for example, Milan or Florence cathedrals. You have to see from outside only.

Such a pleasant tour. Worth every penny. Our tour guy is the best and took us around all major destinations. We could see 5 countries in 8 days without any hassles. Tour bus driver and the entire tour group is excellent. We never felt stressed and enjoyed the trip. I highly recommend for people who are coming for first time.
