The Denggu Temple hidden in the deep mountains was established in the 12th century by the Lama Gawang, King Bafa and King Shabudong rebuilt, where King Shabudong retreated, praying for Bhutan and avoiding interference from Tibet. It is now home to the National Buddhist Academy. After going to the paper mill, you can see the entire manufacturing process of environmentally friendly paper; how to train students to make various traditional crafts such as Thangka, woodcuts, embroidery, etc. at the Technical College; visit the beautiful [Tashichhoedzong] -Bhutan ’s royal palace, The government building and the central monk institution are located in this "holy fortress". Built in the 13th and 13th centuries, this is a lama monastic and castle building that combines politics, religion, and law. It is spectacular and majestic. At present, it is the place where the king of Bhutan presides over the state council and the coronation of the king. Under the eaves. If non-government figures visit, they should be able to go to Riccijuzong, where the king discusses with religious leaders. In addition to the offices of the king and senior government officials, the huge buildings are also monasteries where the lamas have studied and lived. It is an important political and religious activity site in Bhutan. There are still 1500-2000 people living in it. At present, there are about 5,000 lamas in Bhutan .: [National Monument]; as a landmark of Thimphu, the National Memorial Chorten is the king of Bhutan III Built by Her Majesty Jinmei Dorje Wangchuk (the father of modern Bhutan). After the stupa was completed in 1974, he died unfortunately. This is a monument built to commemorate the late king and at the same time for world peace. It is also the place where the Thimphu daily turret is most concentrated. The locals believe that the turret can wash away the sins previously committed. The National Monument is also a stupa, which houses many sacred religious paintings and tantra Buddha statues. Inside, there are many sacred religious paintings and Tantric Buddha statues. This golden spire building did not store the remains of King III, but placed a portrait of him for the people to admire. The bells on the tablet clanged in the wind, and below were long lines of devout people. It is said that many members of the royal family and religious leaders will also visit here. So when you have the opportunity to travel to Thimphu, Bhutan, don't forget to visit the National Monument. Day 3

Punaka

1

Punakha

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Wangdu and pass the Douchula Pass at 3,150 meters above sea level. There are 108 snow-white stupas in a solemn atmosphere. To the north, you can overlook the eastern foothills of the Himalayas, the rolling snow mountains, and the scenery. magnificent. After that, drive down to Punakha. Punakha was the old capital of Bhutan in the 17th century. It is also a place of refuge for Bhutanese royals and monks in winter. It is also very warm in winter and full of rural scenery. On the way, visit the Semtokha Dzong Simtoka Dzong, the oldest temple in Bhutan. Built in 1629 by the first theocratic leader Nawang Lama Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, 3 miles south of Thimphu Thimphu, Bhutan. (About 4.828 km). It is a Bhutanese dragon banknote, a pattern of 1 yuan banknotes. As a very important historical site in Bhutan and the origin of Bhutan's early Buddhist culture, it is currently a Buddhist college. With [Chimi Lhakhang] Temple, Chimi Lhakhang is located on a high post on the Puna Tsang Chhu River. It is a temple built by Lama Drukpa Kunley's cousin in memory of his surrender to demons. Lama Djukakula is a sage widely revered by Bhutanese. He is called a mad sage. His teachings of Buddhism run through wine and beauties, and many of his followers are honored to love him. Chemilakang is not big, only one enters the courtyard, a small Buddhist temple, worships Shakyamuni in the middle, and a small statue of Zhukakula on the right, with exposed lower body and exaggerated deformation of the genitals. This place is a holy place for children. After having been blessed by the lama for many years, the unbeliever was pregnant there. The lama in the temple knocks on your head with bone carvings and wood carvings representing Zhukakula's genitals. This is a blessing to worshippers. Ancient Bhutan In ancient Bhutan, living conditions were difficult and fertility was a very difficult matter. The continuation of life required great energy and cost. Under this circumstance, the worship of reproductive ability has gradually become a belief and has been continuously strengthened in the native culture. When Lama Zhukakula was alive, the Tantra was repaired, and Lama Zhukakula gradually evolved into a representative of strong fertility. Photographing is not allowed in the Chemilacang Basilica, but the beautiful countryside surrounding Cermilacang is the ideal landscape for photographic ideas.

Day 4

Punaka

Punakha Dzong

Sightseeing after breakfast at the hotel: [Visit [Punakha Dzong], built in 1637]. The temple is located at the junction of the "Father's River" and "Mother's River". The building is magnificent, gorgeously decorated, and the atmosphere is serious. The tour takes about 1 hour. It is connected to the other side by an old wooden bridge, which is quite unique. Before dinner, we might as well stroll through the fields. There is a mountain trail that is very difficult and can be considered one of the most popular hiking trails in Bhutan. This afternoon we will enter the Lupunaka Valley and walk through the small village to visit Khamsum Yulley Namyer Stupa. The Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten is the only stupa in Bhutan dedicated to all kinds of protector gods, and each layer of it is dedicated to different protector deities. This is also unique in the world. In the 1990s, the third Queen of Bhutan, Azelin, decided to build a monument to avoid evil. The entire project took eight and a half years. Later, this sacred religious building was regarded as a visual manifestation of the teachings of the Buddha. It can always protect the peace and tranquility of Bhutan. Another special feature of the Kamshaye Linaya Monument is that its architectural details are derived from Buddhist scriptures, not technical books. The Kamchayerinaye monument stands majestic on a prominent ridge in the Punakha Valley. The view from the top of the tower overlooking the entire Punaka Valley is truly beautiful. The Kamshaye Linaya Monument is an outstanding example of Bhutanese architecture and art, and it is also a pearl in the history of human religious architecture.

Day 5

Punakha Paro

1

Paro

After breakfast, drive to Paro. Upon arrival, visit the Kyichu Lakhang, built by King Songtsan Gambo in AD 638. It is the oldest temple in Bhutan. Located in the Paro Valley, it was one of the first religious fortresses built by the Kingdom of Bhutan. Qichu Temple is a double temple building. The first temple was built by Songtsan Gambo in 638 AD. The eight-year-old statue of Shakyamuni enshrined in the temple is one of the most sacred Buddha statues in Bhutan. Queen Ashi Kesang, grandmother of the current king of Bhutan, planned to build a new temple of the same style next to this ancient temple in 1968. Since then, Qichu Temple has not only become a sacred place for local people to worship, but also an important place for the Bhutanese royal family to celebrate. At the beginning, Qichu Temple was only a small temple. Later, several Buddhist saints came to the temple and presided over the expansion of the temple. The most recent expansion of Ki Chu Monastery was the construction of Guru Lhakhang in 1965 on the initiative of Queen Ashi Kezang (mother of the current king). As one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Bhutan, Qichu Temple holds many precious cultural relics. Many celebrities at home and abroad (such as Liang Chaowei and Carina Lau) like to hold weddings in this temple to get the blessings of the monks.

Day 6

Paro-Tiger Cave Temple

1

After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the Tiger Cave Temple on the mountain TAKTSANG: look at the cave where the Master of Lotus Health practiced and the Tiger Cave Temple on the cliff. The Master of Lotus Health once landed here. Master Lianhuasheng is the founder of Tibetan Buddhism. The Tibetans regard the master as the incarnation of Amitabha, the French of Guanyin, and the minds of the Buddhas. They are a combination of "body language and meaning" and are respected as "Guru Rinpoche." It is located on a 900-foot-high cliff in the Barrow Valley (it takes 7 hours to go back and forth, and it takes 3 hours to ride a horse halfway to the tea pavilion to observe the tiger's cave). , Is the most representative Buddhist temple in Bhutan. [Scenic view restaurant]: You can see the cave Tiger Master Monastery TAKTSANG, a cave once practiced by Master Lotus Sheng from a distance; it was built along the cliff in the 16th century. The terrain is very dangerous, and it is admirable. Visit [Drukgyal Dzong] in the afternoon. The site is 14 kilometers away from Paro. It stands on a large rock called Drukgyel village and is surrounded by terraces. It was established by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in 1649 in honor of Bhutan's victory over the Tibetan invaders. Descendants of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel lived here until 1951. It was said to have been destroyed by a fire caused by a misfire by the locals. It is now listed as a national site by the Bhutanese government, reducing further damage to it. Through this ancient site, you can admire the towering Everest Snow Peak on the back of the weather. The scenery is very spectacular and will consume a lot of your film. In addition, under the light of the setting sun, taking photos of this earth-colored zoning fortress is a meaningful picture. If these haven't fully explained what you mean, you can also visit Drukgyal Village, an ancient village that will make you know more about Bhutan.

We had an amazing time in Bhutan. Have been recommending Bhutan and our tour group to friends and family. Jaclyn, our liaison, was so friendly, responsive, and helpful. Our guide Lotay (Kuenden) and driver Ugyen were knowledgeable, funny, and took such good care of us. We visited Paro, Thimphu, Gangtey, Punakha. Went for 3 beautiful hikes, visited many dzongs and monasteries with incredible history and architecture, and managed to catch the black-necked cranes in Phobjikha valley. The weather was perfect, and we got perfect views of the Himalayas too. Would highly recommend.

We booked our 7 day 6 night trip to Bhutan through Jacquie. She was very responsive, efficient and thoroughly professional. Our trip started when our tour guide, Passang and our driver Sangay picked us up from the international airport in Paro. We visited beautiful monasteries, museums, stupas, lakhangs, dzongs and marketplaces. Passang is very knowledgeable about the history of the country and she helped us understand the Bhutanese culture and explained about the customs. Since we were interested in meditation in monasteries, she customized our tour to our satisfaction. She would call ahead to hotels and restaurants to make sure we had a good room with a view or have vegetarian food for us. The highlight was our hike up to Tiger’s Nest. Both Passang and Sangay hiked with us all the way and brought breakfast, coffee and snacks during the hike. Sangay is a super nice guy with excellent driving skills. They both went over and beyond to make our trip the best ever.

  • The tour guide and driver were very responsible and made us all very happy.

It was a truly memorable experience for my wife and I. Bhutan really offers something very unique to the world and we're glad to have had this glimpse into this mystical land. Our agency exceeded all expectations. From the ease and flexibility during initial planning process to the exquisite care taken by our guide (Sangay) have made the trip one to cherish. Every aspect of the trip from flights, visa, hotel, meals, entrance is taken care by our agency. Which leaves us completely free to indulge in what Bhutan has to offer. Our guide was not only very attentive and pleasant but is a walking encyclopedia for everything Bhutan. We did a 3 day Druk Trek Path trekking during our stay and it's something we would recommend if you want to experience raw nature, but be advised that certain level of physical fitness and endurance is needed.

I’d like to extend my deepest thanks to Dorji, Gangway, Pasang, Soham, Black Buddha, and Khantu. You made this trip truly unforgettable. Your kindness and care, especially towards the elderly in our group, did not go unnoticed. I know it must have been physically tough guiding them down Tiger Cave Temple, yet none of you ever complained—you just kept smiling and showing up for all of us with such grace. Thank you for sharing your songs, dancing with us, and for your warm companionship throughout this incredible life changing week. My soul is still in Bhutan 😅 Sincerely, Delcie

BBT is by far the best tour guide company I've ever experienced. Dorji, the boss, and his team of wonderful guides - Pasang, Sanggay, Sonam and "Black Buddha", they were simple yet filled with wisdom + street smart, dedicated, extremely responsive, proactive and most important of all, always there to serve you, always happy to crack a joke or two to amuse us despite our crazily tight schedule. You can't find anyone else more than that. The next time when I'm going to Bhutan again, it will definitely be just BBT. With BBT, they elevated our experiences in Bhutan. THANK YOU!

  • My Bhutan Journey – A Heart Awakening

    - Review from Tripadvisor

This trip to Bhutan was more than just travel — it was a deep and powerful journey of the heart. 1. True Compassion I thought I understood compassion, but Bhutan taught me deeper. True compassion is when we treat even those who hurt or misunderstand us with kindness,Bhutan Best Travel and team showed this through their actions — they taught me that even "bad" people deserve another chance. 2. Letting Go We often get upset when things don’t go our way. I realized it’s because we try to control everything. In Bhutan, I learned to focus on doing my best and let go of the outcome — that brings peace. 3. Meditation Inside the Buddha I had the rare chance to sit and meditate inside a giant Buddha statue. The energy was peaceful and strong. For the first time, I met Guru Rinpoche and learned the power of silent stillness. 4. Mountain Climb Lesson While hiking to Wanditse Temple, a storm seemed to approach but passed us by. I learned not to worry about things that haven’t happened. Just keep moving forward — if our heart is right, nature helps us. 5. Mindfulness by Tukul Tukul’s teaching on mindfulness and meditation touched me deeply. He taught the way I usually teach others. I was moved — finally, someone used my method to teach me. Mindfulness is not just about the present — it's being aware of your thoughts, emotions, and reactions. 6. Rafting Experience I was nervous before rafting, but once I stopped resisting and started flowing with the river, I enjoyed it. I learned to focus on my journey, not on people trying to distract or bring negativity. Just keep flowing. 7. Helping Others with Boundaries I fed a dog, but it bit me accidentally. It reminded me — helping people can hurt sometimes. But don’t stop helping — just change your method. 8. Tiger’s Nest & Forgiveness At the sacred Tiger’s Nest, I prayed and asked for forgiveness — for all the people I’ve hurt or who’ve hurt me. It felt like a big part of my past pain was lifted. I walked down lighter, freer, and thankful. 9. Gratitude This journey was filled with love, care, and lessons. I thank SLA, Dr. Wong, CC, Bhutan’s King, Bhutan Best Travel,my fellow travelers, my family, my wife — and most of all, myself. Thank you for not giving up. Bhutan showed me beauty — not just in places, but in people, energy, and the heart. I’ll carry this journey within me forever.

I have joined a few private tours recently in Egypt, Cambodia and Dubai but this private tour in Bhutan is the best I have experienced so far! Would definitely recommend this tour agency and guide to my friends and all. We went Bhutan in mid May which is recommended by the tour agency. Mid May is not too cold nor hot and just before the rainy season starts in Bhutan. They arranged a private MPV which is always clean and comfortable (cos our driver will ensure that), a driver and a tour guide for 4 of us for our 7 days 6 nights tour. Our tour guide is very nice and thoughtful. He would take note of our meal preference and also pay attention to what we like or dislike. He would then take his initiative to incorporate new dishes like local steam fishes, pork or beef etc into our meals for us to try. Also he would surprise us with tea and biscuits at the end of our hikes and local costumes for us to take nice pictures! Also kudo to our driver who carries all these up the mountain for us. We met alot of other tour groups but I have never seen them having such special arrangements like us. Another thing that we like about this tour is they will bring you to the must go places in Bhutan and yet they will give you a deeper experience about the real Bhutan. The other attractions we went are less crowded and we get to interact with the monks and locals. Also they will prepare some simple hikes during first few days to prep us for our finale which is the tiger nest at the 2nd last day of our tour. This helps us adapt to the high altitude and train us for our final big hike. We are really grateful for their thoughtfulness! Thanks to Sangay (our tour guide) and Pema Dorji (our driver) for this wonderful Bhutan experience! Also thanks to Bhutan Best Travel and Jaclyn for the suggested itinerary and visa, flight and hotel arrangements!

We just took a 7-days trip with Bhutan Best Travel. It was a big group traversing the country in minibuses, so naturally, a few hiccups in tandem with inconveniences were expected. But what we encountered and experienced was extraordinary. 5-stars for a well-planned tour 5-stars for impressive services 5-stars for exceptional tour guides and drivers Bhutan is beautiful but for me and my friends, what makes this country unforgettable is the people with their beautiful smiles, warm heart and welcoming spirit.
