Yerevan

We will arrive in Yerevan on the first day of our photo trip. Check-in time at the hotel from 14:00. For those who arrive earlier than evening, we will meet in one of the cosy restaurants in bustling Yerevan (at your own expense). You will be told all kinds of practical things for day 2. Afterwards, we will stroll through Yerevan and head towards our hotel.

Khor Virap

We visit the beautiful Khor Virap Monastery. It is photogenically located right in front of the high Ararat mountain. We take all the time here for the best photos.

Noravank Monastery

Among red rocks and after a narrow gorge lies the beautifully situated Noravank monastery. So photogenic and so unique. A place where we really take our time.

Yeghegnadzor

We have plenty of time to photograph an abandoned Soviet-era textile factory. The factory has many surprises, beautiful machinery and wonderful colours. A time capsule!

Selim Caravanserai

Just before the highest point of the beautiful Selim pass lies an abandoned and ancient caravanserai. If your eyes are used to the darkness inside, you can take extraordinary photos here.

Monastery Sevanavank

At the most beautiful spot in Lake Sevan is an ancient monastery. It is so beautiful and photogenic that we don't want to drive past it.

Alaverdi

We visit one or two abandoned cable car buildings that in Soviet times provided a link between two important living and working places.

Alaverdi

We visit a huge and largely abandoned factory that meant a lot to all its inhabitants during the Soviet period. Here you will be short of eyes and ears, and you will fill up your memory card.

Monastery of Sanahin

This beautiful monastery with its lovely gardens is an extremely mystical and photogenic place. It is so close that we like to stop here for a few good photos.

Mikoyan Brothers Museum

The designer of the MiG lived in Sanahin. At his beautiful house museum is a real jet plane. Crazy and beautiful place!

Vanadzor

In Vanadzor, we visit a still-operating factory from the Soviet period where time has stood still. We also discover an abandoned Soviet train in dry storage in the given. Very special.

Spitak

In the mountains lies a fantastic urbex site. This is an abandoned Soviet pioneer camp including Soviet art, statues, swimming pool etc. And in a fantastic location!

Radio Optical Observatory ROT-54

You cannot visit this unique venue lightly. There are beautiful and huge telescopes and a unique control room from the Soviet period. Completely intact. A highlight!

Amberd Fortress

This abandoned fort is in a beautiful location. Extremely photogenic and with rich history.

Tegher Monastery

A beautiful monastery, very nearby and with stunning views. We won't skip that one.

Garni Temple

A relic from days gone by. It's just still there. A temple amidst the most beautiful mountains. Photogenic, special and a must-see.

The Monastery of Geghard

This ancient monastery is carved into the rocks. It has extraordinary acoustics and beautiful carvings. Unesco protected.

Yerevan

You can choose what to do with your time, but we can certainly do some urbex photography. Also in the middle of Yerevan.
