Our driver Ben gave us the most amazing holiday! While we were waiting for the wildebeest to cross the river during the Great Migration, he didn’t just have us sit and wait around — instead, he took us to explore nearby areas, like the border and rivers where we could see hippos and crocodiles. It made the whole experience so much more fun and exciting! Ben also shared so much knowledge about the animals — how to tell different types of gazelles apart, and the habits of leopards, cheetahs, and lions. He’s absolutely incredible at spotting wildlife. Many times, he’d point something out, and it would take us a while before we could even see what he was looking at! Every time we made a wish, Ben did everything he could to make it happen — taking us to see big cats hunting, or finding all sorts of adorable baby animals. We can’t recommend Ben enough! We’re already dreaming about coming back soon for another safari adventure with him.

Camptrek Safaris gave our relatively large group the experience of a lifetime. John Njoroge and his team worked with us to design a tailor-made tour both in terms of the time, what we saw and experienced, and the cost. Communication with them was seamless and prompt even though we all live half a world away. John and Lucy answered every query thoroughly and with good humor within hours of being asked. And they provided excellent direction and support for obtaining documents and other issues. The safari itself was superb. We covered Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Nukuru, and Masai Mara. The accommodations were very good - glamping at its most fun- and came in on budget John and the drivers who accompanied us—Pili Pili and Benson—clearly strove to give us a maximum experience by exposing us to all the wildlife possible. They worked tirelessly to ensure each sighting was better than the last and everyday was full. And they succeeded! Importantly, Pili Pili and Benson are highly skilled and careful drivers over exceedingly challenging terrain. Most of all, John and his team made this almost an extended family safari. They were caring and attentive and we learned so much from them both about the animals and about Kenya. I highly reccomend Camptrek.

Rose (our travel coordinator) was very responsive and communicative from the beginning when we started planning our trip, which I really appreciate Geoffrey (our safari guide) did a wonderful job ensuring that my friend and I are comfortable throughout our tour, and made sure to ask what start time we are comfortable with for the following day every evening. He is an excellent and highly skilled driver who is quick witted—he had kindly offered help to another safari guide (after getting our agreement of course), who had found himself stranded as his vehicle was stuck in mud. In the course of assistance, our vehicle had gotten stuck too but instead of giving up Geoffrey then walked to the nearest tree to get some dried twigs and leaves to help maneuver our vehicle out of the mud, which he successfully did in due course! This incident also spoke to Geoffrey’s character as he offered help with no hesitation. Most importantly, Geoffrey’s eagle eyed vision has helped us encounter so many animals during our tour! This is such a crucial aspect of one’s safari tour, and the skills of a guide can vary greatly — in this case we really lucked out! Accommodations arranged by Camptrek was fine — but our first stop at Eliata Bush Camp could have been arranged better by offering my friend and I separate rooms, or a family room, for example, given that the room was quite small and it wasn’t the most comfortable to have 2 people and 2 luggages in the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Enkorok Mara Camp, which was a luxury camping experience. The other 2 accommodations we had were fine — comfortable enough stays in hotels. All accommodations served excellent meals and we met very kind and hospitable staff everywhere, which is something I really appreciate in Kenya! Overall, I’m happy with the safari for the price paid!

All arrangements were perfect, from the itinerary, the room type, the hotel, to the Safari, the detailed explanation, the nice relationship during the travel. My kids like staying with our driver and guide Mr. David, who is very patient with my 10 and 12 years old boys. During the travel booking, Ms. Rose also are very nice lady who helped us on all questions and pre-presentations. The team of Camptrek are really good and professional and I do like the travel this time. Looking forward for another time with Camptrek at Amboseli and Mumbasa.

We chose Camptrek Safaris at first because it was recommended by a friend, and it also had great reviews online. While discussing our itinerary, Rose, the coordinator, was very willing to help us make adjustments. Everything we wanted to do was perfectly arranged by her. Once we arrived in Kenya, the team at the agency took care of everything, allowing us to start our journey smoothly and comfortably. Throughout the trip, our driver Ben took excellent care of us. Although the drives were long, he always made sure we had enough time to rest and provided plenty of water. The vehicle was new and clean, and even with six of us in one car, it was still very comfortable. We especially appreciated that Ben cleaned the car every day — we really liked that detail. During the trip, Rose continued to check in on us regularly, so we never had to worry about anything and could simply enjoy the safari experience. We are truly grateful to Camptrek Safaris for their thoughtful arrangements in helping us fulfill our dream trip to Kenya. Highly recommended!

" Camptrek safaris" is very trustworthy and delivers what it has promised. It has to be one of the best tour operators in Kenya. We went on an 8 day safari and everything from the jeep vehicle to accommodation and game drives was perfect and exactly the way Margareth described at the time of booking. The response was quick and very helpful. The tour guide/driver Steven is awesome and make our safari experience at his best. His experience makes us always get the best view of the animals and we easily saw the big 5 multiple times. Highly recommend. I highly recommend camptrek Safaris for a great experience in Kenya. Trust me they will find a way to help you in the best way.

As our first trip to Kenya we were unsure on how to properly plan a trip and what company to choose. Luckily Margaret was super responsive and designed our trip according to the dates, flight times and our preferences. After a warm welcome at the airport she introduced us to our tour guide Eric who was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Hotels were nice and staff welcoming. However, the last hotel might need some updating and requires stocking of the bar (no soft drink, no beer no wine and no brew coffee - we were wondering why they bother to open the bar) - but this not reflect on Camptrek as a company. Thank you Margaret and Eric for making this trip wonderful and memorable.

My wife and I have booked a 7-Day Wildlife Adventure & Outdoors Activities (UPPER-Mid-Range LODGES) in Kenya. From the consultation with Kennedy and the offer to the billing and safari execution, everything worked out wonderfully. All the information and tips from the staff were helpful and accurate. The accommodation was fabulous. We were rebooked because some of the camps we had booked were being renovated due to the storms. We actually improved on our original booking in terms of the location and comfort of the accommodation. With Jamu, we had a very experienced and experienced driver who not only drove us safely through Kenya, but was also very familiar with the animals and plants in the parks. He also taught us a lot about Kenya and the people who live there. We have been on many safaris, but have never seen so many animals as closely as on this tour with Camptreck. We can therefore recommend Camptrek without reservation.
