After breakfast, continue through the scenic landscapes of Arkhangai Province. Stop in Tsetserleg City for lunch before driving along the beautiful Chuluut River Valley, known for its dramatic volcanic canyon and lava rock formations. Arrive at Khorgo-Terkhi National Park and explore the extinct Khorgo Volcano, where you can walk along the crater rim and discover unique volcanic landscapes shaped by ancient eruptions. Stop for lunch in Murun City, the provincial center of Khuvsgul Province, where you can observe local daily life and explore the town center. In the afternoon, arrive at Khuvsgul Lake, often called the “Blue Pearl of Mongolia” for its crystal-clear water and stunning alpine scenery. Check in to your lakeside ger camp and enjoy free time to walk along the shoreline, relax in the fresh mountain air, and admire the peaceful surroundings. Dinner and overnight by the lake.

Khuvsgul Lake
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic boat ride across the clear blue waters of Khuvsgul Lake toward Khusliin Khad, a striking rock formation surrounded by forested mountains and pristine natural landscapes. In the afternoon, visit a Tsaatan reindeer-herding family and learn about their unique traditions, culture, and nomadic way of life closely connected with their reindeer. After breakfast, depart Khuvsgul Province and travel south toward Erdenet City, one of Mongolia’s largest industrial cities and home to one of Asia’s biggest copper mining operations. Upon arrival in Erdenet, explore the city and experience a different side of Mongolia’s modern urban life and economic development. Dinner and overnight in Erdenet City.

After breakfast, continue your journey back to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in the afternoon and check in to your hotel. Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar City, your guide and driver will drop you off at the designated drop-off point, and the tour will happily come to an end.
