Our trek with Shikhar was honestly perfect! I had never done a guided trek before and was not sure what to expect. I was very impressed by our experience. We wanted to add an extra day to summit Tserko Ri, which was easy to arrange with Magical Nepal. Then, Shikhar picked us up from our hotel and handled literally everything well. He dealt with transportation, accommodation, meals, getting us our rented gear (poles, sleeping bag, crampons), etc. It was very convenient to not have to think at all about those logistics, especially as I watched others try to figure out how everything works in the tea houses. But, what I think I most appreciated was the special knowledge and insight that we gained through being with Magical Nepal’s guide Shikhar. While the beauty of the mountains is clear to anyone, he had tons of information to give us. Being from the mountains of Nepal himself, he could share so much info about the culture of the areas we passed through, the plants and animals we saw, he and his family’s experiences, etc. I asked so many questions and he was always patient to answer them or wait for us when we’d be stopping to look at yet another plant. His cheer and camaraderie (such as our morning stretching and our evening card games) were wonderful bonuses to our experience. He always had a smile on his face and sought to be helpful and a friend to use and anyone else on the trail. To sum it up, Magical Nepal and Shikhar exceeded my expectations and my experience on the trek was elevated as a result. If I come back, I would definitely ask for Shikhar again and I recommend you do as well.

My friend and I hiked Langtang with Shikhar and had a great time! Shikhar was a very positive, bright presence, livening us up whenever we were all together. He also shared a lot of interesting facts throughout the trek, including cultural and ecological. Magical Nepal was really responsive to our needs and requests in general. We asked to add on a day for Tserko Ri, and they were able to accommodate for a reasonable increase in cost. They also gave us our pre-trip briefing late at night, after our flight got in later than originally planned. Thanks for a great time!

First of all ot was an awesome trip with our extremly frendly and organised guide Mitra and our porter Rupi. The two sheduled the trakking perfectly and every Teehouse which we stayed in was already booked by the company. The guide and porter took care of all things that needed to be done like taking and serving meals or planing hikes. I felt save and in good hands along the trak. Furthermore was it great that the company took care of our transportation to Lang Tang Vally as well as to Chitwan nationalpark which they booked for us on our request. Overall was it a fanatstic expirience and everybody should give it a try.

As a non-hiker who prefers to stay inside, I’ve been deeply impressed with how well this trip was planned and what I’ve gotten to see. My wife and I were fortunate enough to have Jay Tamang as our guide, who consistently went out of his way to ensure we were having a good time/were safe/enjoyed our food/etc. He was extremely friendly, and happy to answer all our questions and to share things about the country, hike, and towns on the way. Calling this part of Nepal “scenic” is a disservice, as it’s genuinely unlike anywhere I’ve ever been. Our route followed a river among the Himalayan foothills, through small towns and ultimately to Kyangjin, which appears almost out of thin air when hiking over a ridge. If you are a fit, healthy person- awesome! You will probably have a moderate challenge at times, but ultimately be just fine. If you are less fit, as this reviewer is, you will have a difficult time. I did it, just with more effort, and as Jay was fond of saying ‘slowly slowly’. No injuries, no food sickness, though I didn’t prepare enough for sunburn. Thanks Jay for some unforgettable moments, like our sunrise, fresh snow hike up Kyangjin-Ri!

My husband and I booked the Langtang Valley trek with Magical Nepal and could not have been happier with our experience. From the very beginning, Magical Nepal’s WhatsApp contact was highly responsive and helpful, and provided us with the necessary information. The Langtang Valley trek itself is absolutely stellar. It’s accessible, beautiful, and takes you up close to the Himalayan foothills. For such a short trek, it really delivers. We went in late March/early April and enjoyed the active wildlife and the beautiful rhododendrons just starting ng to boom. The real stand out for the tour was our guide, Jay. Each day of the trek, Jay was highly communicative, giving a thorough briefing of the plans, options, and what to expect. Jay was super knowledgeable and shared information about local customs, wildlife, and more. He was especially accommodating with our needs when hiking and worked with every tea house to make sure we had everything we needed each. We appreciated the way he helped us in ways both big and small, such as adjusting plans to match our pacing and recommending the sunrise hike up to Kyangjin Ri, which was spectacular. He also helped us in so many small ways too, like sharing his hand sanitizer before meals, helping me hang towels in the best places to dry, and fixing my husband’s micro-spikes when they were mired in frozen mud. I honestly cannot imagine a better guide. I highly recommend Magical Nepal, and Jay in particular, for your next Nepal adventure. You will not regret it!

Recently, I booked the Langtang Valley Trek with the reliable and the best trekking company of Nepal Magical Nepal last minute and the staff of Magical Nepal was very accommodating to my last minute requests. My guide was AJ Sherpa was really accomodating and caring. I did not bring sufficient equipment and he brought it for me to make sure the trek would go without any acccident. He is really knowledgeable and a reliable guide, he introduced me to the wild life, flora and fauna, history of Nepal, do's and don'ts and pointed out potential dangers to make sure I was safe. Also a really professional photographer! Took many good photos to make sure this trip was a memorable one. This is definitely a once in a life time experience and if possible will do a trek with the Magical Nepal again!

I did the Langtang Valley trek organised by Magical Nepel and guided by Saroz in December 2025. Although it was very cold, my experience was wonderful from start to finish — from a seamless airport pickup to my accomodation, a comprehensive pre-trip briefing at my hotel lobby the night before we set off, and Saroz was knowledgeable, friendly and ensured that everything ran smoothly on each day of the trek. The team also ensured I had everything I needed, which made the experience a lot more comfortable and I could focus on taking in the amazing sights of the Langtang valley. I would highly recommend Saroz and his team to any prospective visitor!

Saugat and the team at Magical Nepal were outstanding. The level of communication pre-trip via email, phone call as well as pre trek meeting left no question unanswered and insured we were well prepared. I can't say enough good things about them. The trek became a step above great thanks to our excellent guide "Sky". Sky set us up for success. Instead of lingering for the afternoon in Syrapbesi, he got us on the trail immediately and we got a nice jump on the trek, this led to us to get to stay at Riverside and Mundu instead of the more crowded stops. From him we learned a lot about the local culture as well the history of Nepal. His knowledge of the area's plants and animals was a bonus. We're already planning our next adventure with Magical Nepal and Sky.

The Lantang was challenging for my 68 yr old legs, yet l loved every minute. Our guide and porter were exceptionally attentive. The trek went for 8 days through such a diversity of landscape, culture and biodiversity. Connecting with fellow travellers from Nepal and around the world added to the magic of the trek. Highly recommended, thanks Magical Nepal for your professionalisn

The LangTang Valley trek was so incredible. From the bamboo forest to the snow capped Tserko Ri, you will experience it all on this trek. Magical Nepal, and my guide, Suban, made the trip so seamless. I booked the trip online and they answered all my questions promptly through WhatsApp as I prepared for the trip. The day before the trip, I went to the office to get all my gear - they give you a big waterproof duffel to use (well worth it to book a porter!), poles, and a warm sleeping bag. The morning of the trip, Suban met me at my hotel & brought me and my gear to the bus, so I didn’t have to worry about finding my way. The bus was easy and a fun way to see village life as it meanders its way up through the mountains. The trek itself was beyond description - experience it for yourself! I never had to worry because I knew Suban would keep me safe and take care of all the details.
