Arusha Village Experience
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, check in then go through the security check point and officials at the counter will check the required documents to verify your identity. You will go to the exit door where you will find a Kojuu safaris driver guide with a signboard written your name on it. He will greet you and take your luggage to our transfer vehicle and transferred you to Arusha city. On arrival at the hotel our driver guide will assist you with check in process then the hotel porter will take your luggage to your room. You will freshen up after a long flight and later on you will go down the restaurant for dinner and after dinner you can choose to relax at the facilities area take photos and later on go to your room.

After breakfast you will drive to the Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. Tarangire lies in Northern circuit ,120km from Arusha and it will take 2hours drive to reach here. This is a sixth largest park in Tanzania but even with lack in size the park has a lot offer you more that you can ever imagine. Tarangire famous with largest herds of elephant and baobabs trees. This park offers unique and diverse landscapes compare to any other park in Northern circuit. The permanent source of water makes a plenty of wild animals migrate here during dry season. Visitors will find herds of elephant, buffalos and populations of lion, giraffe and leopard. Tarangire is underrated for those who like to explore. You will drive through the savannah to study and learn about small creatures and spot many animals. As afternoon begins to end you will make you way towards your lodge which is located outside the park for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Early breakfast, you will be picked up by Kojuu Safaris driver guide and chef and drive you to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro conservation area for game viewing. Serengeti is extremely large and wild game park ever. It is every traveler desire to see, a nearly 15000 sq km, this park is truly “the endless plains” as it is known by nomadic Maasai who are found here. You mind will be boggling by the quantity and wildlife inside Serengeti. It is a home of big five “Lion, Leopard, bush elephant, African buffalo and Black Rhino”. If is also famous with annual migration and beautiful landscapes. This park is a treat to visit not just for animals but also for its vast and varied species. After the game viewing you will drive to the lodge which is located inside the park for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you driver guide will pick you up for game drive en-route toward north to witness first and famously foremost: seeing the world most fascinating animals. On the way you will spot other animals like Girraffe, zebra, lion, cheetah and many others. Arrive Northern around afternoon, set off for lunch and then heading toward Mara River to witness the river crossing. The annual wildebeest migration in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most impressive natural events in the world. You might want to recall the movies of The Lion King how Mufasa falls while the wildebeest were moving now that is just a small part, the real game is when you are here and you will realize there is so much to see. You will feel them, see them and you will hear their thrilling sound. Now! you will know you are in Africa. As afternoon begins end you drive to your tented lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast you will go for a full day game drive in Northern Serengeti. If yesterday we didn’t get an opportunity to witness the crossing, then today you will head again to the river. We continue our focus on the Great Migration as we delve deeper into this experience spending a whole day by the Mara River. A famous spot for the river crossing, the Mara River is situated in the Mara Region entering through both Kenya and Tanzania. Over the 1.2 million wildebeest and Zebra along with gazelle and topi move in a constant cycle through the endless plain to Mara ecosystem searching for nutrition’s grass and water each year. This is the time of the year where hungry predators such as Leopard, cheetah, wild dogs, crocs make sure only the strongest survive. Later in the evening you will drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Wake up early and drive for sun rises and drive back to the lodge for breakfast. Before leaving the northern part of amazing Serengeti, we take the opportunity this morning to spend more time observing this wonder of the natural world at Mara River. As well as the huge herds, other wildlife in the Northern part of Serengeti include giraffe, impala, hartebeest and waterbuck – your driver-guide will be on the lookout for these, as well as some species of birdlife that have been spotted here. In the afternoon, we return to the central part of Serengeti. Arrive late evening you will get check in and head to your room for freshen up and later on to the main area for your dinner while enjoy the spectacular view of the park.

Early breakfast. Today you drive to the 8th wonder of the world for full day game drive spotting wildlife. Ngorongoro crater known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden’s is the well-preserved natural phenomenon that has become sanctuary for all kinds of wildlife. It is 190km from Arusha town. Inside the crater you will find many reasons you choose to come to safari: First, there was a volcanic caldera full of grassland, forest and swamp, a settling jaw of beauty. Secondly the permanent water of the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals such as leopard, lion, black rhino, hyena, wallowing, Zebra, waterbuck, baboons and many others. Soon after ascend from the crater floor you will drive to Arusha to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

5.00From planning the trip, customizing the tour to the arrival at the airport, Zaituni has been very helpful and guided us all through out the process. Zaituni is such a lovely host and planner. She always keeps in touch to make sure we are having a great time. During the safari trip, Barrick our driver/tourguide made sure we make the most of the trip and his commitment, passion and perserverance during the game drive allowed us to maximize the experience in witnessing some of the wild's most adventurous actions. The Lion's hunt & kill, devouring with the kill and having siestas after indulging on big kills was the main attraction and seeing all the big 5 in its natural habitat is an amazing experience. Thank you much Zaituni, Barrick and Kojuu team for making our first safari and first visit to Tanzania a memorable one.

From the very beginning, owner Judith and planner Julian were incredibly responsive, making the entire booking process smooth and stress free. Judith went above and beyond by upgrading our lodge, which elevated the comfort and luxury of our trip and truly made the entire experience a hundred times better. Julian’s attention to detail and quick communication ensured that every part of our itinerary was perfectly planned, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the journey. During the safari, our guides Patrick and James were outstanding. They were extremely knowledgeable and educational, sharing fascinating information about the wildlife and ecosystem throughout the trip. Thanks to their expertise, we were able to witness the incredible Big 5 as well as a breathtaking river crossing, moments that will stay with us forever. Their professionalism and passion for wildlife made each game drive exciting and memorable, turning our safari into a once in a lifetime adventure.

5.00We were VERY lucky to choose Kojuu Safaris to book our trip. Julian Mlay recommended the most beautiful lodges and places to stay, whilst visiting Arusha, Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorogoro and the astounding Serengeti. We were privileged to meet the most warm wonderful Tanzanian people who live and work there. Best of all, we had the brilliant Fadhil as our guide for the 7 days. His knowledge and patience is incredible! It was an extraordinary experience to be accompanied by him for the week; he worked incredibly hard so that we had a great time. Thanks to Fadhil’s skills we got to see ALL of the Big 5, in fact we exceeded our intended ‘lion count’ of 45, about which we were joking with Fadhil!! Too many close encounters to even remember them all…..! Fadhil, you promised 60 lions next time. 😎 The list of animals we saw is endless….. I cannot recommend Kojuu highly enough. To anyone in the UK, in particular, they are a brilliant company to book with; an excellent cost-effective option instead of using the usual suspects. We had the trip of our lives. Thank you Fadhil and thank you Kojuu!!!

5.00What an amazing safari! Judith was amazing in getting everything we wanted. Communication was fabulous as well. Justin, our driver was awesome in getting us to all the “hot spots “ first. We saw some animals that are not as common as others. We did see all of the big 5. Emanuel our photographer was terrific in getting some amazing photos. We hope to return soon.

5.00We just experienced an extraordinary safari with this company. We had already done a safari in Tanzania 14 years ago, so we had a very clear idea of our requests. Adjusting the trip with Julian was easy; he was very responsive, attentive, and proactive. Richard was more than a guide; he was dedicated and caring. His long experience of the bush tracks and his knowledge of the locals were very valuable. A big thank you.

5.00From start to finish, the 8 day safari trip to 4 national parks my wife and I embarked on was absolute perfection. Not only was every moment flawlessly organized, but the staff was so kind and welcoming too. The owner, Judith, and her assistant Anita even went as far as to greet my wife with a beautiful bouquet of flowers once we arrived at the hotel! To add to this delight, Judith's quick problem solving was not overlooked. When my luggage was mistakenly left in Ethiopia, Judith worked her magic and managed to have it delivered to me the next day in Serengeti! We were in truly great hands throughout the trip. A special shoutout to our tour guide Harun, who was knowledgeable, professional, and extremely experienced, yet so kind that he felt like a part of our family on this trip. His passion for the nature and wildlife is clear, and his wisdom enhanced every moment of our trip. Words can't describe how great he is! I highly recommend this agency for anyone looking for a well organized adventure.

5.00This was by far, the best vacation I’ve had. I saw a bunch of animals up close and felt completely safe with my guide. Harun was the best guide and very friendly. He provided knowledge of observed animal behaviors, Tanzania culture and his unique safari experiences. I really feel his 12 years of guided safaris allowed me to have a perfect tour. The weather was great. All of the hotels have efficient security and decent food.

5.00We dreamt and Kojuu Safaris delivered !! Our 10 nights 11 days Tanzania vacation planned and executed by Judith and team was like a dream come true for us. Judith is excellent at listening to your needs and crafting an itinerary with experiences and stays that you have in your mind. Everything is planned to the T - right from the pick up at the designated hotel / airport to the airport drop off. All our stays through out the 3 national parks were outstanding in terms of location, room, amenities, luxury, comfort, people and food. I would describe our trip as wild outside, luxury and comfort inside. Peter, our guide was phenomenal. His experience of 15 years of knowing the national parks and its animals well, helped us spot all the animals we wanted to see which included the Big 5 obviously. Very polite and always smiling, he took utmost care of us during the 7 days we were with him. Best part of the trip was the safari vehicle which was our home on wheels and which was cleaned every single evening by Peter. Incredible job by him in doing so cos we were traveling to a new destination every day. He ensured the fridge was stocked with water, soda and beer ! On the last day of our safari, we were all tired and exhausted and wanted to go back to the tented lodge after an unsuccessful day at watching the wildebeest crossings. But Peter insisted on showing us a cheetah and a leopard and what a sighting that was ! Thanks to him we got up close view of these 2 beasts when we had given up all the hopes ! We would like to thank Kojuu Safaris for making our first African Safari wilder than our imagination and have us wanting come back for more. 5.00We did the Bush to Beach 9-day safari. This was probably one of the most amazing trips I’ve ever taken in my life, and I’ve gone a lot of places in the world. It was by far, the most spiritual experience I’ve had, face-to-face with these massive animals in their natural habitat. The endless plains of the Serengeti were more beautiful than the pictures I’d seen, the migration of the zebras and wildebeests were phenomenal, and the accommodations throughout the trip absolutely exceeded my expectations. Kojuu Safari met all my needs and more. I have extensive food allergies, and they made sure that I spoke personally to the chef at each and every accommodation. Even down to the transfer from the airport, we were picked up at 2 AM and brought straight to our hotel, where we were greeted by such warmth and sincere welcoming. When we had to leave Zanzibar at midnight, to catch our very early morning flight, we were given boxed breakfasts to take with us. Kojuu Safari literally thought of every detail. All of the people we encountered were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this Safari to anyone traveling to Africa.
