Nagarkot is a village located about 25 miles east of Kathmandu, Nepal. It is on the northeastern rim of the Kathmandu Valley at an elevation of close to 6,800 feet above sea level. It is one of the most scenic spots in the region, renowned for its sunrise views of the Himalayas. You can see Mount Everest with its snow-topped peaks, and there is an observation tower at the very top of the village’s hills. Nagarkot is also famous as the perfect Picnic spot of the Kathmandu valley. From the Nagarkot you can see the fantastic Mountain views of Khumbu ranges, Langtang rages, Manaslu, Dorje Lakpa, Mt Everest etc as well as the beautiful view of the sunrise and sun set in the Himalayan range. From Nagarkot you also see the excellent view of the Indrawati River valley in the east as well as the panoramic view of the Kathmandu valley in the west. 3:00 PM: You will be picked up from your hotel and drive towards Nagarkot. It will take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to reach the spot. 4:15 PM: Reached Nagarkot hilltop. Check-in into Hotel and get refreshed. 5:00 PM: Watch sunset. Start a short walk to the nearby village. It is one of the best view points of this region which is famous for the view of sunrise and sunset in the Himalayas. It is the best tourist destination due to the amazing views of the Himalayan Mountains. 7:00 PM: Back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

Nagarkot Sunrise and back to Kathmandu

4:30 AM: Wakeup call to watch sunrise. Then transfer to Nagarkot tower to watch sunrise and majestic mountains. 6:00 AM: Back to hotel. 7:30 AM: Breakfast at hotel. 9:00 AM: Transfer back to customer's hotel at Kathmandu.
