Great experience! Tour done well and quality. Worth the expense. Professional and prepared George took us to a wonderful place in the woods where we could see the aurora and lots of stars despite the fact that in the Tromsø area it was cloudy. Would highly recommend

We had an amazing time on the aurora tour with Peter. He is very knowledgeable about not just Aurora but the history, geography, culture, lifestyle and everything related to Tromso and its inhabitants. He kept us engaged throughout the drive. The star of the show northern lights were beautiful, Peter took our pictures, made time lapse videos and set up a lovely camp for us. I would highly recommend going with Boreal Quest and with Peter.

The effort our guide put into our trip was amazing. Initially, we tried to catch a spot at an idyllic and remote coastline. Even though we already spottet northern lights then, we needed to switch our spot due to the upcoming clouds. Our guide raced to the next camping spot far away, and did anything possible to a human, so we could catch that opportunity. He also received a professional photoshooting, followed by a bonfire, soup and cookies.

It was an amazing experience with George. He brought us to 3 different places before we settled around a fire with hot soup and bread. George was constantly checking in with us whether we need any warmers/thermal suits to make sure we were warm. The northern lights that day was an amazing sight! Love the cozy tour and the pictures taken of us. Thanks George :) (attached photo taken by George)

Our guide Peter is the most enthusiastic, determined and obsessed with his work guides I’ve ever met ( and we have been on plenty of tours ).He’s a “fanatic” in the most positive sense, and even if we hadn’t seen the Polar lights,he was shining for us from within. But we did! We were witnesses to one of the most fascinating miracles of Nature, words and photos will never describe it.We saw them at 3 different locations, and for the 3d one Peter woke us up after 2 am when we were taking a nap in the minibus :) Some other guide would have gone home to bed,but not Peter. He took our photos,he showed no signs of fatigue,he shared some very interesting info on Norway. Now we want to come back in the fall. Thank you very much for the experience of a lifetime ❤️

We arrived in Tromso on Sunday and were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights ourselves locally. We debated should we cancel our tour for Monday night but were we glad that we didn't! George was brilliant, he found us a great location outside the city where it was only our small group, his enthusiasm was infectious, his knowledge (whether science or folk fables) was huge and that was before he lit the campfire and brought out the homemade meal and the now infamous cookies. This all set the backdrop to Mother Nature giving us the show of our lives, in its truest sense it was AWESOME, just when you thought it could get no better, George would say no .. it's building energy .. and BANG .. it would dance across the sky like something from a science fiction movie. It is a night none of us will ever forget and he even captured photos of it all to prove it really happened! THANK YOU [the photos below are my own poor effort captured on my phone, check his gallery or website for his amazing ones!]

It was an amazing Adventure! We were REALLY hunting the Nothern Lights in a much more private tours than the commercial ones, we were at a spot with clouds we still saw the nothern lights but our Tour guide wanted us to have the best view so we took some pictures and continued to a better spot with no View, there we could see the Nothern Lights dancing and took some even more Pictures! Best Tour in my Life. thank you.

George was truly spectacular. He arrived promptly to pick us up at the hotel and was incredibly kind to us from the very beginning. He drove us to a strategically chosen spot, based on his expertise, to ensure the best possible experience. This allowed us to see a great number of Northern Lights over three hours. He was very clear in his explanations, and the information he provided was very accurate. He offered us soup, tea, bread, and cookies, lit a fire to warm us up, and had folding chairs available for us to sit on. He also provided gel hand and foot warmers, which were very useful. During the drive, he explained some things about the city, and we were also able to share some of our stories. Another plus is his professionalism as a photographer. He offers a tripod if you need one to take your own photos, but the best part is being able to enjoy the natural phenomenon without having to worry about photography and leaving that task entirely to George. The experience is highly recommended, and his personal touch makes all the difference on a tour of this kind.

George went to great trouble with everything. Careful research where there may be lights and then even a safe and great ride to Finland. He is a very likeable and open person and we had a great time with and through him. Fortunately, after we could see lights, he had even made a fire - hot drink and homemade soup ready for us. Great conversations, great experience, safe rides & great explanations. 5/5 🌟 Thanks & best regards from the Schad family.
