5.00I did guided tours with both Lights over Lapland and Explore Arctic in Abisko, and my verdict is Explore Arctic wins hands down. The difference is to have a professional clicking photos of you, so that you can enjoy the spectacle of northern lights and not be fixed on screen. Their biggest plus - the fabulous guide. If there was an Oscar for guides, I would give it to Jeff, who was our guide for the two tours I did, Morning Hike and Aurora Car Chase. In the morning hike, we were three people and Jeff made sure to give personal attention to all. He kept us engaged throughout with his stories of the mountains, kept checking on us, took brilliant photos with different angles (lying flat on snow at times) and sent it to us in 3 hours after the activity. I forgot my sunglasses and he offered me HIS OWN! What a man, full of kindness. In the evening, I did the aurora chase and again he was the most engaging and thoughtful guide. We started in Abisko canyon but it was icy and slippery. Seeing that it was difficult for us to walk, he quickly changed the location. We literally chased the lights and got great photos at the end. I can safely conclude that my trip was even more fabulous, all thanks to the best guide ever, Jeff Gysebergt or as he likes to be known Fridgeirr Geisbergson.

5.00We had such an amazing snowshoe hike experience! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the whole adventure was so much fun. Our guide Jeff was incredibly friendly, professional, and full of energy. He made everyone feel comfortable and made the experience even more enjoyable with his great attitude and guidance. The “deep snow” moments were unforgettable and definitely the highlight of the trip! Everything was well organized, and we felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Abisko. Thank you, Jeff, for such a wonderful day

5.00Our tour guide Michelle picked us up from the hotel right on time and drove us to the starting point. She was nice, competent and very helpful, assisting us beginners with putting on our snowshoes and then we were off. We learned many interesting things about the country and its people. The whole way was plenty of fun and laughter. Upon reaching the top, we were rewarded with a fantastic view and treated to a hot drink and pastries. It was a fantastic unforgettable day

5.00We highly recommend this snowshoe tour with Explore Arctic. Superb loop to the Stornabben from where we discover a magnificent view of the lake and the surroundings! Great experience with our guide Jeff who will make us great souvenir photos of this memorable day. Very nice also to have all these explanations about the straces in the snow and wildlife life in the park of Abisko. We stayed in Bjorkliden, pick up at our super convenient hotel to reach the abisko park.
