  I booked caving with Dolomite Training for my Dad's birthday and we had the most amazing day. Our guide Wendy was so knowledgeable and took the time to understand what we were comfortable with before starting our adventure. The cave was incredible to see and had lots of options to try something more challenging or to take an easier route. I was a little nervous as I hadn't done anything like this before but Wendy put me at ease and we were able to complete all of the challenges. We look forward to booking another activity soon to explore one of the other caves.

  We had such a fun day. Wendy was amazing and very informative. Loved seeing the fossils in the caves and all the geology as well as the abseiling down the underground waterfall.   Wendy made caving for beginners like me and my family an amazing fun filled activity. She also gave insight on the formation of the caves and the wonderful fossils.

  This was a fantastic experience! We were a corporate group, none of which had been caving before, everyone had a great time (even those with initial reservations about being underground)! The hosts were both funny and engaging and made the experience all the better! Would definitely use Dolomite training again for future adventures

  Recently spent an afternoon with work on this team building activity - several of us were super nervous, but Wendy & Steve were so calm, and had different options for everyone’s ability, there was no pressure - such a relaxed environment & everyone ended up getting outside their comfort zone! Wendy is incredibly knowledgable about the caves & the local area, as well as being light-hearted, friendly & funny, she was a really great instructor to have with us all for the experience! Safety was at the heart of everything which instantly put everyone who was nervous at ease. It was a great afternoon, and whilst I may not be rushing to go abseiling in a cave again, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wendy & Steve, and use their local company again! It’s great to support a small business & help them thrive! Thank you!

  We had a blast. Wendy was a great instructor. I was apprehensive and wondered if I'd bitten off more than I could chew on arrival, but Wendy was warm and reassuring and said there were lots of options for people with varying levels of confidence. I went with my husband and two teenagers, son age 15 and daughter age 14, both of whom loved it. Wendy took some great snaps and video footage for us so we have some fab memories to look at as well as remember. Highly recommend as a fun family activity if you are feeling adventurous as it's all doable and you are in great hands with Wendy.

  This was a present for my 75th birthday and I enjoyed it so much I'm planning on repeating it for my 80th! Wendy inspired confidence with her knowledge and skill, and encouraged us with positive feedback. Abseiling over the river was great fun, and we both repeated the experience several times. Any doubts I'd had before scrambling into the cave were soon dispelled, and the whole underground experience was fascinating. Wendy took lots of photos and video while we were in the (very wet) cave and shared them with us straight away. This activity day is suitable for couples, families or groups and is well recommended.

  Surprise day out for my partner’s birthday. Well organised with clear communication from Wendy, even when an unexpected road closure resulted in us being late. We spent the morning abseiling with Matt, who was calm and supportive throughout, making sure we all felt safe and at ease. The afternoon was caving with both Wendy and Matt. Despite my wobbles re super tight passages and the rope ladder (IYKYK!) their support was second to none. Caving was type 1 fun for the kids, more type 2 for me but a wonderful day with great guides & lots of stories to tell afterwards. Highly recommend, great value too.
