This tour with driver nunni was awesome, nunni was very friendly, informed us about everything, was the best driver on this tour. The tour lasted about 6 hours, were traveling by land cruiser, very clean and new vehicle. The Thin Ride was sensational, had a lot of fun, had driven 7 vehicles together, photo shoot at sunset, then on to the camp where we could do various activities, dinner was very fine. Then there were 3 more shows, which were very impressive and entertaining. After that we were driven back to hotels. This tour is definitely recommended, very well organized and thank you to our driver unni who was very competent, helpful.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the tour experience organized by Desert Gateway. Unfortunately, this activity turned out to be a typical TOURIST TRAP and did not meet our expectations at all. Below, I list the key reasons why I would recommend avoiding this experience: - Distance and safety: The location is about 1.5 hours from Atlantis The Palm, with heavy traffic. During the drive, the driver drove recklessly and was using his cell phone. Additionally, Desert Gateway did not provide car seats for the children, which compromised our family's safety. - Lack of information: During the tour, we did not receive any explanation about the places we visited, Dubai’s history, or any interesting facts about the region. After reading other reviews, I realized that the quality of the experience depends a lot on the luck of having a good driver/guide. - Desert ride: The desert experience was extremely short. After hours on the road, we spent only about 15 minutes in a desert area that was full of trash, including plastic bottles. The area was sadly dirty and not what we expected. - Camel ride: The camel ride was a huge disappointment. It was only 5 minutes and took place in a parking lot. The camels appeared tired and mistreated, being forced to carry tourists around and seemingly hit with a stick. - Over-commercialization: The area was full of vendors trying to sell cheap items, placing red/white scarves (keffiyeh) on our heads and on our children’s heads without asking for permission, only to later charge an outrageous price for them. Finally, when I reached out to Desert Gateway to file a complaint, the company attempted to blame our family for the driver’s behavior, falsely claiming that we were late for the tour. However, we arrived at the meeting point before the driver, and there was no valid explanation for the driver’s misconduct during the tour. Given the poor treatment and overall experience, I feel this tour was not worth it in any way. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to their services.
