Broken River
This is where you get the best chance to see the wild Platypus swimming at Broken River. Then we all have our BBQ lunch in the park, under the gum trees. *Platypus are wild creatures and although we see them most of the time, some days they are shy and they can't be seen. Weather, noise, and environment do affect these shy little creatures.
Eungella National Park
We take in the views from the Eungella Chalet. This build beautiful was built in the 1030s on the edge of the Clark Ranges and takes in breathtaking views of the Pioneer Valley.

The platypus-spotting tour was absolutely amazing. We were lucky enough to see a platypus, which was truly special. We also enjoyed a beautiful walk with Cara, our guide, who was fantastic and shared so much interesting information about the rainforest and its incredible wonders. Besides the platypus, we spotted wildlife such as a kookaburra, many turtles, and bats. Cara also stopped so we could take photos of the stunning national park from a breathtaking lookout point. We also had time for a short stop to pick some delicious, juicy mangoes, which was a lovely surprise. To top it all off, we enjoyed sausages just like at a real Australian BBQ. A wonderful, well-organized tour for everybody that I would highly recommend!
