Take a boat trip along the coastline between Albufeira and Carvoeiro and have a chance to see Wild Dolphins in their Natural Habitat. Enjoy a relaxing break where you can jump off the boat and make the most of our refreshing waters and beautiful views of our coast.

There will be no disembark inside Benagil Cave
Although we do our best to provide a french and/or german guide on all our boats, this may not always be possible.

What To Expect
We start the trip @ Gate 4 in Marina de Albufeira. From there, we will go along Algarve's golden coastline, passing through some amazing locations, like the Fort of Our Lady of the Rock and secluded caves hiden in our amazing rock formations, like Benagil Cave's cathedral! On the way back to the Marina de Albufeira, we set sail to open see to try and watch wild dolphins!

5.00The boat took us out to sea where we could witness dolphins swimming and frolicking in the water. That was truly amazing to see. As for the caves, the sea was in a particularly violent mood so a safe distance had to be maintained from the rocks bordering the caves. This meant that we couldn’t actually go into the caves this time. All in all, it was great fun. The guide was brilliant. They took a couple of pictures of us and put them inside a nice booklet which we bought afterwards for 10 euros. Will recommend. The seats were comfy even as the boat bounced quite high while riding over the waves and gave my backside quite a beating on occasion. :)

5.00Due to the unfavorable weather forecasts, the boat trip had to be postponed by one day. We were informed early via whatsapp. Today everything worked out great. Friendly, fun atmosphere on board, very worth seeing rock formations and caves along the coast. On the subsequent frantic drive out to sea, actually several dolphins sighted. For us a successful trip.

4.00We are eighty years old, and the passing was not his pleasant experience for us. The sea was very turbulent, with high waves, we got quite wet, and we got a lot of sea water in our eyes. But what we saw was beautiful

5.00Excellent experience, bengali caves and once in a lifetime experience with the Dolphins!!! Top tip, dress for the weather, wee bit windy, bring a blanket, Lol. Loved the overall experience! We recommend the dreamer boat experience to everyone!

3.00Tourguide was booked in German - in fact he was English. I understand that not every guide speaks German, but then you should not offer that. Access to the caves of Benagil has been closed for years. To suggest this with a promotional image for the tour I find unfair . The boat trip itself was fun, you also came back to shore dry footed.

1.00The advertising on the website is very misleading as it never mentioned it might not be possible to get inside Benagil Cave due the high tide. We’re told that we couldn’t go into Benagil Cave due to weather condition just before boarding. When we arrived at the peripheral of Benagil Cave, the staff on board told us we couldn’t get inside the cave due to high tide. If we knew we can get inside the cave only during low tide, I would have picked another time slot.

5.00Tiago, Joao and Mary made this a great experience again. Last May we have seen some dolfin, not many, but the trip was still very good. A lot of beautiful things to see and a lot of information and the crew made it great. Yesterday an new experience and this time we did not see dolfin but we have seen Orka's!!!! That was so amazing!! And again a lot of beautifull things to see and a very nice and happy crew. I really recomend this and i will be back myselve too

5.00We had an amazing adventure today with Christian, the guide, and Pedro, the captain. We were on the small boat called Insonia, from the company Dream Wave, exploring the caves, cliffs, and dolphins near Albufeira, Portugal. The small boat gave an intimate feel, and had a limited number of guests, so you could see very well, and really felt immersed in the experience. We saw some dolphins, and went into numerous spectacular caves, slowly respecting the ocean waves, while also enjoying the thrill of the speed when it came. I highly recommend this tour, and hope you have Christian and Pedro to make your adventure and wonderful as ours was today.

5.00Nice excursion with dolphins. The caves were nice but not amazing. Very friendly staff: Pedro, Luana and Gabi. We got many good pictures and just enough tan.
