Our guide Sam and driver Johan were excellent. Sam did a great job in his explanations and giving us information. I was a little nervous at first because I normally do excursions provided by the cruise line but this exceeded my expectations and I would definitely do it again.

It was a moving experience. Highly recommend! We traveled with a 13 year old and her attention was kept the whole time. Our guide, Sam, did a great job telling the overview of WW2 history as well as engaging stories of individual heroes. The stops gave everyone enough time to look around and experience.

Lots of walking and the wind is fierce on the beach so if you tend to get cold be prepared! However, it was a wonderful experience, and I definitely would do it again. The guide was knowledgeable and so helpful! If you are looking for a history based tour this is for you!
