Staying at Windjammer Landing, met Tyler on the beach. After a quick convo, texted back later to book a boat trip for 6 people (group charter). Picked up at our beach at 9am (May 20th). Tour guided by SJ. He was a full on RIOT and kept good energy for the trip. Tour of southern island, mud bath at Soufrière, snorkelling at Sugar Beach, and an amazing home cooked lunch at “Mama’s” house on the side of the mountain. Our group is still talking about lunch days later. The trip back was a great vibe, playing music requests while having rum punch and cold Piton. Was a great day and well worth the price. (Don’t forget some cash for tips - well deserved, and $1 for the public washrooms)

This was a great adventure that involved many fun activities. First we were picked up right at our beach near Castries since we were staying near a resort. We were met by Kennedy, who kept us entertained until the boat showed up at 9:00am. The boat backed right up to the beach where we were met by Skinny Jimmy and Captain Pato, who carefully helped us on board. There were 18 of us on this trip, but we all fit comfortably onboard, which by the way is a speed boat so we could get to our destinations quickly. SJ was a riot who kicked in some great reggae music and a lot of singing. We slowed down in areas that had some history to the island so Jimmy could explain the importance of those areas. Our first stop was at the waterfall so we could beat some of the other tours and crowds, which at that time we were the only ones there. Skinny Jimmy took the time to take countless photos of each couple or family. Even got a video of us walking into the falls. This was a really neat stop! Next stop was the mud baths, which was awesome. We lathered each other with the white mud, which came directly from the sulfur springs, and when completely covered, Jimmy showed us any spots we missed lol, we decorated each other with the black mud. After a big photo shoot by Jimmy we headed to the 100 degree bathes to clean off. This felt amazing, although I wasn’t sure I was supposed to stick my head underwater, but did it anyway. Next stop was Momma’s house for an absolutely amazing lunch. I can’t even remember all the different wonderful dishes she put out for us. By the way this was Kennedy’s mom who fed us this amazing meal. After that it was time to refresh at Sugar Beach, where the snorkeling was amazing. The water is so clear and much of the reef is still intact with many varieties of fish to view. Snorkel gear is provided by Jimmy, so you don’t need to bring your own unless you want to. After some well spent time in the water we headed back, which was an excursion in itself, lol. Rum punch and Piton beer was brought out and all the jams kicked in. A great sound system on the boat too. I don’t know how Jimmy doesn’t fall overboard popping tops and filling everyone’s cups, but he was quite talented and experienced with this obviously, lol. He went around letting everyone pick their favorite song for the trip back, so was a lot of variety there. Everything from Bob Marley, Skynard, to John Denver. Then we were dropped back off right where we were pick up, which was in the nick of time before my bladder burst from all that drinking on the way back. Overall the excursion was well worth the money, a great adventure with a lot of great memories, a great captain and an excellent host with Skinny Jimmy. A must do in Saint Lucia with Jullian Tours.

If you don't do anything else in St Lucia make sure you do this tour. Fun filled day from start to finish thanks to the wonderful 'Skinny Jimmy'. Honestly, he should have his own tv show. Highlight for me was the time spent at the iconic Sugar Beach.

me & my wife Jo( i am mark) were on the beach of the sandels halcyon beach resort when approached by a lovely guy named kennedy. without being forceful we were convinced to go on his boat tour and it was the highlight of our holiday. a speedboat was a good way to see the island it took us to sugar bay where we snorkled. then we were taken on a small coach to the sulphur baths. followed by a trip up the volcanic mountains for home cooked food at his mamas house. meeting his lovely parents. then onto a waterfall then back onto the speedboat where rum punch that tasted like hot cross buns were drunk. individually. these things would have been worth it … individually it was unmissable.. highly recommended

We joined Skipper Coco and Skinny Jimmy our guide last Friday. From the moment we got on the boat to the moment we got off we were thoroughly looked after. The boat was in great condition, powerful and plenty of shade. We felt safe whilst enjoying an exhilarating ride. Skinny Jimmy was a perfect host, lots of laughter but with lots of local knowledge. We enjoyed the waterfall, mud baths, snorkelling and a home cooked lunch feast at ‘mama’s house. Just the best day - thanks Skinny Jimmy and Coco.

We had the best experience with Skinny Jimmy and Palo. All of the stops on this trip were beautiful and so much fun! The waterfall, mud bath and Mama’s meal were all incredible. The snorkeling at Sugar Beach was amazing! Enjoyed the rum punch on the boat ride back to our resort. Definitely recommend!
