Good guide, it’s worth paying a little extra to book with a tour like this that supplies the warm gear and a PROFESSIONAL photographer (vs some guy with a camera). But the weather was impossible and we saw absolutely nothing. He tried, he really tried.

We really enjoyed our northern lights hunt with Arctic Adventure tours. Our guide Klara was kind, knowledgable, and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our night. The thermal suits and boots were a necessary addition when standing out in the cold for hours, other tours provided suits but not the boots; these made a huge difference. The hot chocolate at the midway point in our evening was delicious and helps to warm you up! The freeze-dried meal was ok, not overly delicious but my partner enjoyed his. Would highly recommended if you are thinking about booking a tour!

It was a delightful evening. Our guide Klara did a fantastic job setting expectations while still being optimistic and diligent about finding an opening in the cloudy sky. She found the perfect spot and we enjoyed hours below a perfect halo of clear skies where we were treated to some spectacular aurora. My phone camera is old, and doesn’t have night mode, (I highly recommend having a good phone or camera that lets you take long exposure photos) but luckily Klara took some great photos that we were able to download the next day. Don’t forget to bundle up! It gets cold. Additional shout out to the driver, the ride was smooth even though the roads were slippery and dark. Overall a great experience!

Klara and the team were amazing - it was a seamlessly wonderful evening where they worked tirelessly to find the lights even though there was very little chance because of the cloud coverage. We drove 3hours to Finland and we were lucky enough to see the amazing spectacle. The driver was fantastic, Klara was so enthusiastic and the food and camp fire just added to the experience. I would not fail to recommend Arctic Adventure Tours/ they made a dream come true.

Klara was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable, fun to talk to on the long drive. Extremely committed to finding the lights. Stayed later than all the other groups and ended up seeing an extremely impressive aurora (by the far the best of the night). Highly recommend this company. By far the best experience from our trip.

Our family had an awesome night and so blessed to have Ferenc as our guide. We are thankful that despite the weather, we had a glimpse of the Aurora. Truly a magical experience and grateful to witness it with family. Everything was perfect, except for the weather, from the size of the tour to the delicious reindeer stew (which we bought a lot by the way) and the hot chocolate. Yes we were not able to do the bonfire but there is always a next time (hopefully). Thanks again and you have made our Norway trip a memorable one.

This was a good arrangement. They are knowledgeable and act like a very serious company. Got borrowed nuts, suits and shoes. Had a review before we left with what was important to know about and what we could expect since this is a natural phenomenon. Very nice guide who answered well to all questions and who took very nice pictures of us. I lit fire so we could warm up. The food was good and it was good with hot drinks next door. We were very lucky with the evening and the northern lights danced over the sky for a long time.

This is the northern lights tour you need to do. They go out of their way to find the magical lights in the sky. Professional, knowledgeable, they take amazing photos that they then share with you and also provide warm outfits and boots and delicious warm food (with veggie options).
