What To Expect
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
By this half day tour,You can choose the tour starting time at 09:00am in the morning or 2:00 pm in the afternoon . Driving of approx. 1 hour to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum in a comfortable and spacious vehicle. Follow your professional guide's detailed commentary of Qin Dynasty and China's first emperor, visit all three pits (No.1 Pit, No.2 Pit and No.3 Pit tagged in the order of their discoveries) of the Terracotta Army Museum upon arrival, witness the 2,200-year-old sculptures depicting thousands of unique figures, and be shocked by the vivid life size terracotta figures of warriors and horses. After around 2 hours visiting, heading to a nice local restaurant to have lunch. You'll be dropped off at the hotel at the tour end.. Alternatively, if you choose an afternoon tour which starts at 14:00, after the Terra-Cotta Army museum, the dinner will be offered at Yongxingfang for a nice local dinner.

5.00Fantastic day out. Jackie is incredibly knowledgeable about local history and is widely read. He helped navigate the queues at the terracotta warriors museum and had lots of insider knowledge and nuances, pointing things out that would otherwise be missed. A highlight of the day was lunch at a local restaurant where the must have biang biang noodles were served. Don’t miss out on these!

5.00Jackie is a super fun and motivated guy, knows a lot about Chinese history! He is always trying to help and is super polite. Was a great experience for sure, can only recommend doing this tour with him. His English is also very good as he is also an English teacher. The restaurant he took us before the show was amazing, make sure to order the pork sweet sour!

As this was my first time visiting China, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but Michael went above and beyond to ensure our trip was smooth, enriching and memorable. Michael is fluent in English and effortlessly communicated historical and cultural insights throughout our visit. He tailored our itinerary to fit our interests and needs, and his attention to detail, friendliness and deep knowledge of Xi’an’s rich history made each day a pleasure. We visited many of the city’s highlights, including the Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum (Terracotta Warriors), the ancient Xi’an City Wall (my favourite), the foodie's paradise Muslim Quarter and several other hidden gems we wouldn’t have discovered without him. 5.00Judy - was and is the Best! We had a fabulous day with her! We were picked up from our hotel (Grand Hyatt) and driven in comfort to the Warriors! Judy told us loads of great facts and literally took us by the hand and guided us into the park and around the amazing Warriors! We were a group of 3 - 2xUK and 1 NZ and have very little Mandarin between us - Judy just made it so easy and a super enjoyable experience! We spent about 3 hours there before heading to the Walled City for lunch and then we headed to the up the Wall which is also amazing! Judy took control of the whole thing- walked us through it all- got us back to the car and then dropped us off! A brilliant day! If you just need someone to sort you from start to finish- shes your guide! I would 100% recommend her! Thanks Judy!!!

5.00We booked this wonderful tour last minute and it exceeded our expectations! Judy, our incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, was a joy to spend the day with. She gave us so much great information and history that made all the difference in our understanding and appreciation of the fascinating culture of Xian. As a native of the city, she beamed with pride as she told us about her hometown...that we now know is one of the world's 4 ancient capitals! 5.00I had a good time on this tour with Cathy. She has a lot of knowledge about the warriors and she was always happy to take me and my sister pictures. This made the tour very enjoyable. Having Cathy there made the experience more memorable because I was able to understand and made it very hassle free. She was very sweet and I felt she istened to our needs. The car ride was very comfortable too and very convenient for us. I recommend this tour and I would request Cathy if you can.
