A unique all inclusive experience with insider access to the places we visit.
Escape the busy city! A few miles outside Amsterdam lays the beautiful countryside of Holland. Visit the windmills, explore old towns, taste Gouda cheese and Dutch apple pie. This is an all inclusive small group tour. We travel with luxurious full-size Mini Bus to our destinations. We come at places where no tourbusses can come.
When the group is complete we drive north to the small historic fishermen village of Marken. We have a short walk in the village where I explain some of the history.
In the harbor of Marken we will stop at a local dutch cafe for coffee, tea and Dutch apple pie. Great time to get to know eachother a bit more.
From Marken we drive to the wooden shoe and cheese farm. At the farm we will get a private tour how cheese and wooden shoes are made.
The traditional sawmill where they still saw wood as in the old days. The windmill shows the big industrial revolution in the 16th century.

From Marken we drive to the wooden shoe and cheese farm. At the farm we will get a private tour how cheese and wooden shoes are made. You can try to walk on wooden shoes and taste all the different kinds of cheeses.

5.00Amazing tour! Beatifull places to visit, the mills, the wooden clogs place Volendam (unique fishing ville), everthing memorable! And couldn't ask for a better team than the funny and cheerfull driver Stef, the great guide Diana explaining everything and the nice, kinde and sympathic assistant guide Ocean, helping everbody, young and older always with a smile! 5.00Our tour guide Leander, was both personable and knowledgeable about his country. He took us to several small villages and the windmills. Went inside one of the windmills to see a working sawmill powered only via wind.

5.00Wonderful tour! Leander was exactly what you want in a tour guide: knowledgeable, friendly, relaxed. Loved visiting the former fishing village and the windmills, even in the rain; the wooden shoes and cheese shop felt a little touristy, but the cheese sure was yummy! Very glad we did this.

5.00Very nice small tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and we saw and learned a lot. I would recomend this tour to anyone who has a half day and wants to see the countryside. The windmills were amazing, we got to go inside and see the workings.

5.00This tour is a MUST for anyone visiting the Netherlands due to its efficient pacing and the "behind the scenes" exclusive access to activities that are not accessible unless you take this tour. Leander is an awesome guide and exceptionally knowledgeable about the experiences we visited as well as the local history. He gave us so many cool recommendations and was interested to hear about where each of us in the group have visited and where we are from which made it feel like we were with good friends. We had such a great time and know you will too! I give this tour a 10 out of 10!

Leander has a deep knowledge of Dutch ingenuity throughout history, and effortlessly whisks the group through picturesque landscapes. A must do for anyone with interests in wood working, sustainable design, and delicious grass fed dairy cheese.
