You'll be treated to an authentic Portuguese dinner, complete with a soundtrack of jazz and bossa nova, creating the perfect ambiance for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Your host João is Brazilian, and he lives in Porto, Portugal. He has a fantastic apartment with lots of plants and sun. He loves to cook, especially with intense flavours, drink Portuguese wines, chat and make new friends. He is a filmmaker and loves to talk about art, literature, cinema and everything else that is positive. 5.00Excellent experience! We met some fascinating people and had a wonderful dinner, complete with wine, charcuterie and cheese, a delicious main course, and dessert. Our hosts were engaging and interesting to talk to, as well as the other couple enjoying the dinner with us.

5.00Joao was an incredible host! He warmly welcomed us to his home with open arms, and he wined and dined us all evening. Not only was he a gracious host, but he is an accomplished chef who created a fantastic meal. His friends Sylvia and Pedro also dropped in, and they were an amazing and entertaining couple who shared the evening with us. We learned so much about the city of Porto and the countries of Portugal and Brazil, and they all facilitated connections that bring people together to make the world a smaller place. Thank you so much for the wonderful evening!

5.00João was the perfect host. Every detail was well thought out, including the music, which always sets the mood! The appetizers, dinner, wine, and of course, the conversation all made for an amazing evening. It’s a fun way to meet new people and learn about each others’ backgrounds and experiences. This was one of our favorite memories of our trip, and we left having made some new friends.

5.00Dinner at João's house was incredible: great food and great people! The house is very cozy, beautifully decorated with lots of plants. We had good conversations over sangria and wine, accompanied by some good appetizers, followed by a delicious dinner. I met really nice people at João's house, it was an unforgettable experience. If you are in Porto, I recommend going to João's dinner!

5.00It was my first experience and I confess I was very impressed, as it was very welcoming, fun and tasty. Cozy, as the Mood allowed people to stay at ease and very comfortable. Funny, as a consequence of this relaxed and welcoming Mood, the conversation between all the present flowed like we were longtime friends, with the exchange of personal and professional experiences, future projects, musical skills, etc. And tasty, because we were offered a variety of flavors, textures and aromas that involved us throughout the night... including the care of the different nutritional options without excluding or differentiating...
