We booked the trip the night before and received an immediate response with simple instructions for pick up. The driver picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the pier in which we boarded the boat for the day activities. Please keep in mind that you will have to pay three hundred baht per person as an entry fee for the national park . They provided us with a late breakfast and beverages. The boat has three levels with a The boat has three levels with an upper deck for sunbathing and napping.. be sure to bring a towel and sunscreen. The tour guides were engaging in very friendly. It took us about an 1 hr and 40 Min to get to the national Park from Ko Samui. If you pay for the full experience, first you Will go kayaking through coves and a cave to get to the first beach with a view point. Please keep in mind that the climb is steep so wear proper shoes or you can do like did and bring trainers and flip-flops. They did provide a tasty lunch of chicken, veggies, rice, and spring roll Next, you’ll get into a motored gondola with the same people on your boat. If you are claustrophobic or have issues with being in tight spaces with many people, you may have some anxiety. This boat then takes you to the most worthy part of the trip. There, you have the option to hike up to the viewpoint, explore the cave or go snorkeling. I would highly recommend taking the hike as the viewpoint is worth it, but please be careful as a height can be challenging for some. The guides estimated that it would take us about an hour round-trip and it took me an hour and a half (I’m in exceptional health and over 40). Please be advised you are going to want to get into the water after your hike. We didn’t see many people snorkeling but swam until it was time to go. We made it back to our hotel with the same transportation provided in the morning.

Breakfast was banana & muffin Kayak tour was cool about 30-40 min Blue Lagoon is steeply uphill and the steps are very narrow. Lunch is a lot and delicious. Ang Thong National Park is nice for swimming and walking around. Boat trip one distance each approx. 2h

The trip was nice, very scenic and the kayaking and hiking were good exercise. However, I lost my expensive l sunglasses on the boat under suspicious circumstances. The crew claimed they offered them to a random passenger. Not sure I believe the story. Hang on to your possessions. Partly my fault but mystifying that they disappeared so quickly.

Overall a good experience. For being the cheapest tour option available, we were pleased with the organization and the tour team. The marine park really is as beautiful as the photos. I would note that this is a walk/hike heavy tour and the snorkelling is not good (but we had fun!). We did the kayaking which gave a really good view of the island. There wasn't much time to linger in the kayak, but the guide was good and patient. The walk up to the emerald lagoon was not too hard though there are many very steep stairs, but it's not so far and it's possible to do it in flip flops (just be very careful not to lose them through the stair gaps). We liked the flexibility on the second island to hike to the overlook or cave or swim/snorkel. We hiked to the cave which was shorter and very cool—you should definitely wear sneakers or strap on sandals for this one because it is a challenging rocky climb with debris and you use ropes to climb. We really liked seeing the first cave (we didn't go to the others because of time/challenge. The beach is beautiful and has fine sand, though the swim area isn't great for snorkelling—the coral is dead and there aren't many fish. The lunch on the boat was good.

A wonderful experience, very well organised and guides Tom and Marta were fun and gave excellent instructions on activity, highly recommend the kayak experience, we had not previously had any experience but felt safe and had an amazing time! Angthong national marine park stunning but, being more mature in years and not athletes, could not manage the full hike to highest viewpoint but still not disappointed with the views we did see. A must visit fir those travelling to Koh Samui!

100% would recommend. Went with my wife and we had the time of our lives. It takes about 1.5h to get there so if you get sea sick like me, I would recommend taking something before the boat trip.

We really enjoyed our trip to Anthong National Park. We started off the day by taking the ferry to the national park, which took about 1.5-2 hours from the pier at Koh Samui. Once we got to the national park, we kayaked along the escarpments and through a few caves. Later in the day, we did a hike, which had a beautiful view of the grotto, and enjoyed some time on the beach. Later in the afternoon, it downpoured for a few hours, so it impacted our ability to snorkel that day. It was a pretty long day, as getting to/from Anthong alone takes 4-5 hours of the day, between driving to the pier from your hotel/resort, to taking the ferry. It was, however, a very wonderful experience and truly beautiful! If you have the time, and energy for an all day excursion, I’d recommend it!

Great day trip out on the islands. Bit of travel as expected but all very pleasant. The guides - like very trip we have been on in Thailand were excellent. Always enthusiastic and jolly. The places visited were beautiful and the kayaking was fun - but hot. The climb to the top on the second is quite challenging and you will need decent shoes. We don’t make it to the top but still enjoyed the viewpoints we went to. A great way to see some different islands and nice landscapes. The boat was pretty full but getting on and off via kayak or longboat was managed well as was supply of food and drinks. Plenty of soft drinks available all through the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Really great adventure. My girlfriend is very sensitive to sea sickness but the transfer boat was big and quite a steady ride. What surprised us about this experience was the food included. First there was a breakfast with coffee, a banana cup cake and banana. Then there was a well rounded thai lunch. Free water and soft drinks. We loved the kayak ride. In the national marine park there are 500 meters of uneven stairs and quite dangerous. The thai host said we could use flip flops when climbing those stairs when we left the boat for the marine park. After seeing stairs later we realized this was a pretty bad recommendation. You have to use sneakers to be safe. We are young, strong and this is not something for children or elderly at all - but using flip flops here is really dangerous. Sharp uneven steps that were very steep. We managed but I just wanted to add this. This is not a trip for children in general.
