• Catamaran with Lobster Lunch

  This was an excursion with Celebrity Cruises in St. John's Antigua. The excursion was through Destination Antigua 2000 Ltd We took this through the cruise ship excursions. The catamaran was the One Love with Captain Philip. A great way to spend 6 hrs in St. John's. the crew from start to finish were great. There were maybe 36 people on board and plenty of room to get some sun. First 1 1/4 hrs was leisurely cruising out to a beach area. We sailed along the coast and the captain pointed out areas along the coast- the first hotel on the island, the hotel with 4 beach areas, DeNiro's house. When we pulled ashore, we were steps away from the beach area. Only regret was there were no loungers or umbrellas to use but we were only going to be there a few hours. So we stayed in the water swimming or walking the beach. Lunch was served 45 minutes after we got there-Lobster with salad and rice. And some Prosecco to enjoy. The crew grilled the Lobster while we were swimming. Another round of swimming before we went to the next beach which was about 25 minutes away. Bigger beach area but there were two other catamarans on the shore. Nevertheless less nice beach area and probably not one you could reach on your own. The trip back was fun and the crew was great. Great way to enjoy a day in Antigua.

  5 out of 5!! The 2.5 hour ride on the Antigua coast is GORGEOUS. But the crew makes this experience even better. Top notch people, good drinks, good music and most importantly, they help out. I watched them do a tremendous job helping some elderly people onto the boat. It was an amazing experience and it made our engagement week even better. Thank you!

  A wonderful evening! We were so fortunate with the sunset we had, and even saw the flash of green as the sun set below the horizon! The crew were great and attentive, and there was generally a really lovely vibe. We were a bit worried about the amount of people at first (I think they all came off a cruise), but relaxed into it and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The drinks are free flowing, but don't expect proper canapes - just a couple of nibbles. The Captain pointed out lots of landmarks to us, and it was a great way to see the coast line and some of the famous resorts. One of the best things we did in Antigua :)

• Didn’t expect getting soaked going into and out of boat

  We’ve been in several catamaran cruises, maybe this first time with aviator. Every single we have boarded the ship through the pier. This time, unbeknownst to us and without any previous information whatsoever from Viator, we had to board the catamaran from the beach. We were nicely dressed as we usually have for sunset cruises and boarded through water up to our knees. Yes, the crew was very attentive and nice but upon return, the boat was even further away from the beach and we had to wade out of the boat through water up to our waist. Everything we had got totally soaked and our cell phone was ruined. Damaged. Very disappointed at Viator for the lack of information especially when we could have been prepared by wearing bathing suits and carry out phone in a water proof bag. We need our phone replaced at this point. No excuse for this.

  The crew work very hard to keep alcohol flowing and create a party vibe. Under the cover is very loud, I was expecting a romantic boat ride and an experienced a party boat ride. I enjoyed it. However, my husband has some sensory challenges and struggled with the loud music. If I had known it was more party than romantic I would have not booked as I know this is not within his tolerance levels. This review is to just let others know if ur after a sunset cruise with a party vibe and plenty of alcohol you can’t go wrong!!

  Beautiful sunset cruise! Lots of tasty drinks are included and small appies are served. The crew is what makes this so special, they were full of energy and lots of fun! This cruise also included round trip shuttle to our hotel!

  The staff were very friendly, generous bar, fantastic views. The staff really care to make your experience fun. Drop off and pick up was included in the booking. It was a really great experience.

  You will have to wade into the sea a little bit to board the catamaran off the beach so come prepared. Once on board the music starts and the drinks flow. Have a bit of lunch before you go as the food offered is Hors d'oeurvres. Very nice but not enough to soak up several rum punches! A very enjoyable cruise in and out of a few bays along the coastline and a spectacular sunset before turning for the return journey back to the beach. Would definitely recommend putting this trip on your holiday 'to do list'.
