5.00This tour was perfect, as we learned a little bit about everything Antigua represents. Our guide explained the city's history, the volcanoes, the coffee, and why many people don't consider Antigua to be part of Guatemala. This tour is definitely a must-do.

1.00The guide was a no-show (I was there 5 minutes before the meeting time, and stayed until 20 minutes after the start time, after receiving no response). I tried to get reimbursed and was refused.

1.00The tour guide didn't show up, we arrived exactly at 2pm and waited for 45min with another couple. A local person tried to help us, but the contact number for this trip was +519 which is not the Guatemala country code. Very disappointed.

We learned a lot about the history of Antigua and the different activities that can be done in the area apart from the volcano hikes. Antigua is a place where you can take beautiful photos and Roberto took us to the right places to do it.

1.00*This review is about Viator, not necessarily the tour company* DO NOT BOOK WITH VIATOR. I scheduled this tour the same day in the morning. According to this website, there was a tour at 2 pm. I was pleasantly surprised as it was a last minute booking and I was looking forward to it. Knew it was too good to be true - I went to the meeting spot and waited 20 minutes. No one showed up. I requested a refund through Viator and have been denied, which is despicable customer service.

By taking the walking tour, I learned more about the city’s history and got inside deets on the good places to check out.

5.00We booked the tour through GuruWalk with Luis in German. His German isn't perfect, but he explained everything very well. He also showed us a typical toy that we were allowed to try out. At the end he asked us questions to see if we were paying attention. For every correct answer we got a small gift. We can only recommend the tour.
