The drive takes us along the Sihlbrugg pass and across Zürichsee to Rapperswil with its medieval castle. We journey onto Mt Säntis where from a peak of 2502 metres, one can see Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, France and Italy (on a clear day).
This is the highest point in the region. After this we journey onto to the green and hilly region of Appenzell where one can stroll through the quaint pedestrian zone with it`s painted wooden houses, before heading back to Luzern, popping into Vaduz in Liechtenstein on the way back.

From his very first question, we knew we had an expert behind the wheel. Rather than just follow some predetermined route, he asked what WE wanted to see. After telling him what we had done already, he suggested what turned out to be a PERFECT day trip. And at each location, he even was able to suggest how to best spend our time. His deep experience, knowledge, and easy-going personality were so much more than we expected. He went above and beyond all day long. We cannot recommend him highly enough! 5.00Chris was a fantastic tour guide for eastern Switzerland! He took us to Appenzell, Ebenalp, Leichtenstein, and Läderach chocolate factory. The entire trip was stunning, and Chris gave amazing information about all of the sights. I would definitely do a tour with him again!

5.00Absolutely AMAZING experience!!! Our tour guide, Joseph, was very professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, and accommodating. And the actual sites - St. Gallen, the Luftseilbahn Brülisau–Hoher Kasten, Einsiedeln, Liechtenstein, and the Läderach chocolate factory - were all spectacular and absolute must-sees.
