Despite Aurora not being visible this evening have experienced a very nice walk. Unexpectedly, it became a private tour. Snowshoes were exchanged by irons and that allowed us to reach the top. The trees seem to come alive during this walk, in the dark with only the light of a light on your head. With the stars overhead, and the veil clouds blocking our view of Aurora, it was a magical experience. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that a few days later we did the same route in daylight. The guide told us all sorts of facts about what that extra something is about such an organized walk. Highly recommended.
