What To Expect
Overview Experience swimming with two of the four Sea Turtles species native to the Cook Islands. We take you into their natural marine environment, close enough to touch but our sustainable tourism policies mean we only allow touching with your eyes. Their home is not just home to Sea Turtles, we may encounter Eagle Rays, Moray Eels, Trevally, and the hundreds of species of tropical fish. You'll learn about our coral reefs, the habitat and what we are doing to protect this resource for future generations. As the Eco-Adventure Tourism Award Winner in 2020, you can trust that our tours are eco-friendly and that your safety is our number one priority. Every client gets to use our unique eco-friendly sea scooters to pull you through the water and assist you during your tour. Conservation & Credibility · We are the only tour operator who sponsor "Te Ara O Te Onu" The Cook Islands Sea Turtle Conservation Society. Five percentage of your tour fee goes to the Society. 5.0010/10 highly recommend! Staff were friendly and attentive for my wife, who wasn't so confident in the water, and the sea scooters provide brilliant gliding to make your experience smooth and fun. Photos were awesome at the end too!

5.00Best experience ever! Ariki has the top guides, wherever we looked they were close by looking after our safety they took us out and wow! There they were turtles were swimming amongst us, beside us and underneath, such a humbling experience and has been the highlight of our trip so far! They even came back to say goodbye as we were leaving so blessed Thank you Ariki Adventures, definitely worth the money you pay , highly recommend 👌

5.00My husband, sister and her daughter (9) went on this tour. I had booked through trip advisor while on a cruise ship. Transport was easy to find at ferry terminal (costing) $10 per person one way under half an hr to drive. The company was very responsive and welcoming when we got there. We had a safety brief and into the water with our lovely guide, support person and photographer. The powered hand held scooters made it a breeze! It only took a couple of minutes to find turtles and manta rays. There was ample time in the water and we were all very closely monitored for safety. Our guide Tisha was excellent, very knowledgeable, kind and made our tour fun. Definitely recommend this tour. Suitable for all ages with swimming capability.

5.00We went on a turtle tour with our two young kids. All of the guides were incredibly professional and ensured we all felt safe and had an enjoyable experience. We saw some beautiful turtles and rays and just had an awesome time. Definitely recommend going on tours with them if you have little kids ( or just in general!). Photos were included as part of the experience which is a great touch

5.00Akiri Premium Turtle tour prioritises safety of participants and respect for the turtles. We had a great time, saw lots of turtles doing turtle things. We enjoyed looking at the fish and other coral creatures as well. Our guides took care of us, offering rest breaks and help as needed and with kind respect. There were over 20 photos downloaded onto our phone at the end of the tour. A wonderful experience.

5.00This was an absolutely amazing adventure, that I would highly recommend. Though I was anxious prior to getting there it soon dissolved by the reassurance given from the confident and very competent guides and supportive staff. I found them to be exceptional when explaining the exercises involved and also once in the water. The professionalism shown towards us all was top tier. Thank you so much to the entire team for making this experience fun and so memorable.

5.00Amazing Experiance , loads of turtles added bonus school of Rays . The images you see in photos of the scooters they look big and bulky there not and the battery life is great that lasted the entire trip with still 2 bars spare . Safety is top priority each group of 5 had 3 experienced members of staff one had bouyance floats and was always near by . There’s always a safety boat near by also .One of the three takes photos for each group on go pro cameras and they download the entire trips photos onto your phones gallery through the go pro app for no extra cost once back on shore . At the end of the trip you get picked up by a boat so if your knackered it’s no problem . The Director lady is lovely and looks genuinely interested in your Experiance . This Experiance is for all ages and isn’t tiring . If you could give it a 10 I would .

5.00Even though it was raining today, we were met by a fabulous crew that made us feel very welcome. The team looked great in their new outfits and everything was done professionally and with safety in mind. The scooters were easy to use and the tour team was awesome in their new outfits water. We saw lots of turtles and even saw stingrays, it isn’t a cheap exercise though we felt well cared for with the lead guide plus someone following us, a photographer and also someone in a boat as well.
