What To Expect
Overview Experience swimming with two of the four Sea Turtles species native to the Cook Islands. We take you into their natural marine environment, close enough to touch but our sustainable tourism policies mean we only allow touching with your eyes. Their home is not just home to Sea Turtles, we may encounter Eagle Rays, Moray Eels, Trevally, and the hundreds of species of tropical fish. You'll learn about our coral reefs, the habitat and what we are doing to protect this resource for future generations. As the Eco-Adventure Tourism Award Winner in 2020, you can trust that our tours are eco-friendly and that your safety is our number one priority. Every client gets to use our unique eco-friendly sea scooters to pull you through the water and assist you during your tour. 5.00What a fabulous, amazing, must do experience. Ariki Adventures were top notch operators. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff and crew or couldn’t do enough to help us as needed. The weather hadn’t been great, but the crew took the time to make a safe decision and we were able to go on our adventure. Definitely 💯 % recommend to do.

5.00What an awesome experience the sea scooter helped with the current and made diving deeper very easy so multiple turtles swam with them and got some amazing photos. team are very helpful and very soft orientated which gave you peace mind that someone was looking out for you! 100% recommend this you won’t recruit it.

5.00We had several attempts to get out to see the turtles, but due to weather conditions it wasn’t until our third try that we were finally able to go. These decisions were clearly made with the best intentions, both to keep us safe and to ensure we had the best possible experience, and we really appreciated that level of care and professionalism. Johnny gave excellent instructions, and we felt supported the entire time we were out on the water. Our group consisted of six people, and there were five staff members in the water with us, which made us feel incredibly safe and well looked after. The wind did pick up while we were swimming, but at no point did I feel unsafe. The sea scooters made getting around so much easier, and honestly, I don’t think I would have managed without them. Seeing so many turtles was absolutely amazing, and we even got some fantastic photos to remember the experience. I would highly recommend this team to anyone considering this adventure. We felt completely safe, supported, and cared for throughout what turned out to be an unforgettable experience.

The tour was very well run, with a strong focus on safety, which we really appreciated. It meant we could just relax and enjoy the experience. Definitely recommend booking the sea scooters, it made things so much easier. Swimming with the turtles was unforgettable and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend!

5.00If you’re thinking about booking a turtle tour absolutely go with Ariki Adventures! This was hands down one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel completely at ease. Everything was so well organised, professional, and relaxed at the same time. Safety was obviously a top priority, which made a huge difference once we were out in the water. We felt totally looked after the entire time. And the turtles… wow. Seeing them up close in their natural environment was just magical. The guides were incredibly respectful of them aswell as the coral and made sure we had the best possible experience without disturbing anything. Now, the sea scooters—they are an absolute must. They took the whole experience to another level. Effortlessly gliding through the water alongside turtles felt surreal, and it meant we could cover more area without getting tired. What really stood out though was the team. Friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They created such a great vibe—lots of laughs, but always keeping things smooth and safe. Everything just flowed perfectly from start to finish. No stress, no confusion, just a really memorable, bucket-list experience. We’ve done a lot of tours in different places, and this one is right at the top. Highly recommend Ariki Adventures!
