We had a wonderful Armenia day trip, thanks to our guide Temo. He was very punctual, explained everything clearly, and kept the trip enjoyable and entertaining throughout. The lunch was delicious and felt very homely. He also made sure we were dropped back at our room on time. Highly recommended!

This was a wonderful day tour. We loved seeing the churches and other sites. Our guide, Zezva, was very knowledgeable. We learned so much. The lunch was incredible - such delicious food and a great variety of dishes. Zezva made the whole day perfect. We highly recommend this tour.

We were a pleasantly small group (5 people + guide). Temu took a lot of time for us to explain everything and even bought typical Georgian lemonades on the drive from a supermarket that we can try. We saw a lot and had a lovely time. October is the ideal season to make the trip. I can recommend the tour!

  • A very good tour with a very good guide

Temo was a very good guide - a safe driver, and the tour schedule was well organised. We saw many interesting sights, from 11th century monasteries to the more tortuous recent industrial history. Temo was informative, helping us with shopping and money changing tips and was very patient with our non stop photo taking! The lunch with the local family was lovely and plentiful. I feel that the whole group had a great time. We met as strangers and left as friends.

  • Thanks Temo!

Temo was our guide for this tour and he made sure we were comfortable and fully engaged through out the tour. Temo can virtually talk or debate on any topic and he is a history geek and has intrinsic knowledge on monastery and soviet era. We also had lunch with the Armenian family which was sumptuous. The tour ended bit late as couldn’t make on time in the morning but Temo was very patient and never once we felt that he wanted the cut the tour short. I am sure you will always remember Temo as he is not someone whom you can forget easily!

  • One day trip to Armenia

Lovely one-day trip to Armenia. Our host, Timo, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Worth taking some Armenian Dram if you want to buy a drink or keepsake. We took equivalent of about $10 which was fine - we got it from an ATM on the border but it didn't work for everyone (there is a currency exchange but the queue was quite long). Border crossings can be long, more on the Georgian exit/entry than the Armenian side. The food with the family was lovely and plentiful.

  • Wonderful day trip from Tbilisi to Armenia with a safe and knowledgeable driver. All was as advertised. Ask for Temo!

We had Temo as our driver and guide from Georgia to Armenia for the day. Temo was prompt, curious, a safe driver and extremely knowledgeable of the complicated history of Georgia and Armenia. He was entertaining and his English was very good. Each part of the trip was as advertised - from the wonderful family lunch to the beautiful monasteries - highly recommend this day trip from Tbilisi.

  • A Memorable Trip to Northern Armenia

During our visit to Georgia, we had the opportunity to explore Northern Armenia, and it was an unforgettable experience filled with breathtaking sights and rich history. Our guide, Temu, was fantastic—his deep knowledge and extensive experience made the journey even more special. He shared fascinating insights throughout the trip, bringing the history and culture of the region to life. We were a group of four and traveled in a comfortable car, which made the trip smooth and enjoyable. One of the highlights was visiting one of Armenia’s oldest monasteries. We also explored old Soviet-era sites, which gave us a glimpse into Armenia’s past during the Soviet period. To complete the experience, we enjoyed a traditional Armenian lunch with a local family. However, we strongly recommend booking a two-day trip to Armenia, as one day simply isn’t enough to fully explore and appreciate everything this beautiful country has to offer. There’s so much more to see and experience beyond a single-day itinerary!
