Wine tourism lovers will enjoy going to the famous countryside town of São Roque on a full-day wine tour experiencing a fabulous day out. With first-rate gastronomy and wine production, the city is a reference known as the Land of Wine.
Learn about the winemaking process of vineyards visiting popular wineries, and savor a fantastic lunch at the largest winery in town. (not included).
Begin with an informative sightseeing through São Roque that has a beautiful landscape. Then visit four wineries getting to know about the art of wine, local history and current trends. In each of them, make a tasting of their different types of wines, accompanying them with some typical products, such as cheeses and sweets. You'll even try the famous cachaça!
After having such a delightful day, finish off with a presentation and guided tour through the production part of the winery and taste of four fine wines.

What To Expect
Sao Roque
With the tour to São Roque, also called the city of wine, taste the several different wines hopping from one winery to another in a full day tour. After hotel pick-up in São Paulo, drive for one hour to São Roque to start your tour along the famous wine route. There are more than 30 establishments along the route, including wineries, restaurants, farms and distilleries. When we arrive in this city, take a panoramic sightseeing though São Roque before diving into the wine world. We’ll visit 4 to 5 establishments between wineries and distilleries. In each of them, we will make a tasting of their different types of wines, accompanying them with some typical products, such as cheeses and sweets. You'll even try the famous cachaça!
Sao Roque
Afterwards, have a free time to eat at one of the best wineries in town (not included), where you can taste delicious Italian, Portuguese or, of course, Brazilian food. Along with the wine, also try other typical products grown in the region, such as sausages, cheeses, sweets, and cachaça, a traditional Brazilian liqueur. At the end of the tour, you’re dropped off at your hotel in São Paulo.

5.00Danilo Valisserra was our guide and it was clear that he put thought into the places he chose to show us. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and a sincerely good person whose expertise came through in his explanations and translations. We visited three wineries and a restaurant; each was a good experience in a different way. Plus he's a motorhead, so those discussions were fun too. I highly recommend Mr. Valisserra as a guide for English or Spanish speaking vistors.

5.00We took the Art of Wine tour with Danilo. This was part of a two day tour with Danilo in which we did the Santos tour on day one and visited the Wineries of Sao Roque on the second day. Before we get to the tour as a returning visitor to the São Paulo area I would like to say one thing. “If you are visiting Brazil on business and only traveling between hotel and conference center your are missing out” for all the media, Brazil is a country of warm hospitable people where a smile bridges the gap of a whole language and a few words of Portuguese fills in the rest. If you visit Brazil please take the time to go and see. On the second point we could Not ask for a better guild than Danilo. Within minutes with hit it off and talked everything from Brazil, world travel, natures and end psychology. If you got to Santos, Sao Roque or anywhere else in Brazil Danilo will be a great guide and will share his local knowledge and a whole lot more. Highly recommend this too regardless of if you are new to Brazil or serval trips on, you will really enjoy it!
