From the ranch you will be taken on a 2-hour guided horseback riding tour through the 'Cunucu' or Aruban countryside with no streets or traffic and venture to where the iguanas, parakeets roam free. Enjoy the rough north east coast with the waves crashing wildly onto the rocky shores,walk on a beach if weather permits, into the ocean. If the guide sees you can control your horse well the dunes of soft white sand are a great place for a controlled gallop,scenic views and photos. This tour is very nice for the more advanced riders. English and western tack available. Galloping is allowed for the experienced riders (tour guides discretion).
After the ride com and enjoy a cold drink we have for sale in our cozy country Bar. For the early riders we also have coffee and thee for sale. Try one our Famous delicious Dutch Grilled sandwiches.
Free round-trip transportation provided. Choose from one of two departure times when you book.

Pick up times vary from 45 minutes to 15 minutes prior to tour departure time. Please confirm with us your pick up time at your hotel or pick up location.
If you come with your own transportation you need to be at the ranch at least 20 minutes prior to tour departure time
The driver will leave after 5 minutes after pick up time at you pick up location. please be on time. we can only reschedule you at extra cost if there is availability

What To Expect
Rancho Notorious Aruba
After your pick-up, we'll take you to the ranch situated in the typical Aruban countryside. The guide will provide basic instructions, mount you on your horse (English and Western tack available), and lead you on the trails. The ride is approximately 2 hours. The guide will assess your riding level and adjust the ride accordingly. After the ride, you'll depart from the ranch in our company vehicle and return to your hotel or the cruise terminal.

From the ranch, we will take you on horseback through our 'Cunucu' or Aruban countryside, without crossing streets or encountering traffic, to a hidden lagoon where donkeys, iguanas, parakeets, and more live. 2.00Tour guide spoke no English so we were unable to learn anything about the terrain or the horses!! So quiet ride and pretty boring bc you didn’t have any interaction with the guide.

4.00I went on the advanced ride. It was booked as a private tour but I was added into a group of 3 as they were down a tour guide. It wasn't a big deal and I actually ended up with a group from my hometown. I wouldn't necessarily say this ride was advanced. There was some rocky terrain and chances to trot and canter but we remained in a single file line so the horses went on autopilot. I also was expecting a beach ride but, while we were next to water, we didn't ride on the beach or near the water. We did pose for a couple of pictures by the water. I do wish there were more opportunities to video and take pictures while actually riding. The pick up and drop off was easy and the tour guides were very nice. I would recommend this tour if you are a beginner or slightly intermediate but not necessarily for advanced who want more opportunities to ride fast on your own.

5.00Three of us had a fabulous ride this morning! We rode Victoria, Bunny and Dolly. All Paso Finos! The three do use have all been professionals in the past and one has competed extensively so we chose a private advanced riders trip. Our guide pressed the pace on the way out. Trotting whenever it was possible. We stopped at the rocky shore for some photos and pressed onward to a sandy beach location and more photos. The ride was 2 hours and went by quickly. We covered a tremendous amount of ground. The horses were nice. I really liked my bay mare, Bunny.

5.00Fun and friendly walk/trot riding experience from the ranch through tails to the east side of the island and back. Horses and guide were great along with the family owned & operated vibe. Convenient pick up & drop off from local hotels. Wear pants and bring cash for a well earned cold drink afterwards.

5.00This was the best day I had in Aruba. Miles of the real Aruba untouched by commercial development. The original Aruba. The horses were gentle and we were able to use English saddles! Workers were so kind and knowledgeable. You have so many opportunities for unbelievable photos! Next summer I plan on going 3-4 times a week. Dolly Parton (the horse) and I are going to become besties! Please remember some cash so you can purchase a $1 apple to treat your horse on return. Also it’s nice to tip your ride lead & driver that will pick you up at your hotel or cruise point. It’s not required, but trust me, they are fabulous and truly deserve it after they’ve made your day so special.

5.00I booked the advanced ride and got lucky. Since it was only me we were able to spend quite a bit of time cantering and a few times into a gallop as I’ve ridden for about 20 years. I could see being frustrated if you book an advanced ride and there are other people in the group who lie about their experiences or don’t understand intermediate/advanced skills but the company has no way of controlling that!! My horse was VERY well behaved but once she saw we were opening up to run she was definitely game to go and had some speed to her. These are not slow rolling quarter horses like in the states. The horses are also VERY well taken care of. I’d be the first to complain if I see a horse underfed. You can tell by their coats and bodies - absolutely no ribs on ANY of the horses. They also have decent saddles, padding, etc to make sure the horse is comfortable to accommodate various riders. The trail guide and owner were very nice. Would definitely rebook.

5.00Def one of my fav tours in Aruba. The ranch even let me feed my horse after the ride for an extra fee but it’s literally just $1 for apples and carrots unless you want to buy more for the horse. The ride was long but if ur good at riding horses you will def enjoy this activity. The guide Nelson was very nice and let us handle our horses at our own pace and I enjoyed that.
