Ride horseback through Aruba's natural wonders and enjoy breathtaking sights on your way. Enjoy a small group tour with friendly, attentive, multilingual guides who have your safety and enjoyment in mind. Helmets are available. Great trails for all skill levels including beginners and children! The Lagoon is a natural waterhole for lizards,birds and such amid cacti invested countryside typical to aruba. Depending on weather conditions (drought or rain) there will be water in it. This ride is excellent for families with children , young at heart and beginner riders. One hour perfect. If you wish to see some more opt for the 1 1/2 hour ride to the Urirama cove beach. perfect pictures.
Before and after the ride we have cold drinks, coffee/ thee and our famous delicious Dutch Grilled sandwiches you can purchase at our cozy Country Bar

At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time

The driver will leave after 5 minutes after pick up time at you pick up location. please be on time. we can only reschedule you at extra cost if there is availability
Please call to confirm your pickup time or arrival time if you have your own transportation. This can vary by season
Refunds will not be issued if tour / activity is missed due to late arrival at the ranch or pick up location or NO-SHOW

What To Expect
Rancho Notorious Aruba
After pickup from your Aruba hotel, you will be transported to the ranch where you will meet your guide and horse for the tour. After an overview and safety briefing, it will be time to ride. There are six available departure times to choose from for this 1-hour tour: 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m. From the ranch, your guide takes you on horseback through the 'Cunucu' or Aruban countryside, meaning you will not have to cross streets or ride among traffic. Travel through the countryside until you reach the hidden lagoon, home to donkeys, iguanas, and parakeets. Take pictures and enjoy the stunning views. Your tour ends with a hotel drop-off one hour after your tour begins. Please note: A minimum of two people per booking is required.

5.00I had so much fun! I have never rode a horse before but after this I feel like a professional. It was so exciting and safe. I would recommend everyone try horseback riding with Rancho Notorious. The horses are so happy and loved. I want to come back and do this excursion again. Can’t wait to come back to Aruba and visit.

5.005 Stars. On time arrival for pick up at our hotel, which was very convenient. Small group ride was very peaceful. Beautiful terrain of cacti during the ride. The beach we rode to was spectacular. Be prepared for it to be hot but wear long sleeves and a hat if you can to prevent sunburn.

3.00The views were cool, but my daughter was bit by her horse. She was told it nibbles sometimes, but doesn’t hurt. They should not use a horse that bites. Her whole leg is swollen and bruised.

5.00It was very interesting the trail was top tier not boring at all and the horses were well trained and followed each other you really didn't even have to hold on I was told the horse I was on likes to trot that was helpful

5.00Friendly people, good horses, beautiful scenery. Nelson was our tour leader and Annalot was the hostess and helper. She is helping the owner set up food and beverage service soon. Nelson knows where the best picture spots are. We had a great time!

But shout to my guy who gave us the shuttle taxi ride, it was a pleasure meeting you and thank you for the tips of advice and for answering all my questions about the island. Another big shoutout goes to the OG cowboy who lead the tour with our beautiful horses. It was hot, it was beautiful and what an experience to remember. 🙏🏽

3.00This trip wasn't exactly what we expected based on their website and photos. This ride goes by the water, briefly, but there is no time spent in the water and very little time walking on the beach which meant no relief from the heat. My horse, Victoria, was a great ride, very responsive! There are no complaints about her, she was wonderful. My friend rode John, who was very slow and clumsy, tripping, and almost falling a few times which made for a very unpleasant ride. Our guide wasn't english speaking, so we had difficulty communicating that we thought John was hurt. He did finally catch on and switched horses with my friend. We were later told that John was "in training, and tends to be ADD like and clumsy." We let the owner know that we were disappointed that there was no time in the water and felt their website was misleading. We also provided feedback that not informing us about John's ADD and slowness took away from the enjoyment of the experience.

1.00It was terrible!!!!!!!!! I had a horse that seemed lamed and the guy said oh no. He just has ADD. Our tour guide couldn’t speak English so when I was said my horse was falling down and couldn’t keep up he would smile and say ok. It said we would go down to the beach and enjoy a beach run. NOPE!!!!!!! Was a trip through the desert in 100 degree weather with no water. Wouldn’t recommend it at all. The guy actually said to us that they keep the good horses for the 1 and half or 2 hour tours.

5.00The communication ith them made me skeptical so I drove out to the ranch the day before my ride and found out they were closed on Sunday. I was not able to contact them for 2 days to schedule my hotel pickup because of their work hours. Luckily I had a rental and drove there on my own the morning of the tour. The owner apologized and gave an excuse about someone not taking the phone with them over the weekend to answer calls. Once we started riding with the guide, whose name was Nelson, everything was great!! The tour was beautiful. We tipped Nelson twice because we loved him!
