5.00I took the astronomy tour during my visit to San Pedro de Atacama, and it was undoubtedly one of the best experiences of the trip. The desert sky is breathtaking: thousands of stars visible to the naked eye and incredible clarity that allows you to perfectly appreciate the constellations. The tour was very well organized. The guides explained the constellations, planets, and the importance of the sky to Andean cultures in a clear and engaging way. Then we were able to observe through professional telescopes, where we saw planets, nebulae, and star clusters in great detail. In addition, the team was very friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. At the end of the tour, they offered hot drinks and a small snack, which was much appreciated because it gets cold in the desert at night. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting San Pedro de Atacama. It's a magical moment that connects you with the universe and makes the trip even more special.
